Greetings to all. I am saddened to see that this isn't a very active group at present, but I will be poking around in the archives to see if I can get any tips on where to start in finding my path. I have been "eclectic" for 13 years, and I am suddenly finding that I need something a bit more defined.

Hello,
I am new here and to Paganspace and have had nothing but wonderful welcomings and greetings and it is awesome. I am interested in finding a path that is right for me, I have friends that are Pagan, Wiccan, Native American and so forth and I just haven't found what is right for me yet. Any help?

Just wanted to say hello and say what a great idea this forum is. I am new to paganspace( though not new to pagans ) and ask those who may visit my page to bear with me as i learn how to personalize it.LOL! it's It's in infancy stages right now. Blessed Be!

So I cannot say I am lookingfor my path. My way is clear and has been. I have studied other belief systems to find their similarities because I believe that as a people we can come together on those things we are the most similar in and use our differences as a strength to make us all better.

Hi Rebecca (or is it Becy?). As for me, I did not find my path, it found me (Marcy). I was 7 years old when I was walking down a street near my home on the way to the store for my Mom. As I was going I was thinking about how beautiful the autumn leaves were on the tree and how blue the sky was. Yes, even at 7 years old I never felt like a child. I was loving every moment of the cool autumn air. Then a very female voice came to me and told me o enjoy the beauty, to live every moment, because later in life I would be a messenger (no kidding here folks). I knew at 7 that I was going to do something in the future for this being. I was not raised any belief system bt was taught many things by my grandfather who happened to be druid or shaman (he came over in 1901 from Scotland). Anyway, I began writing as well and got published for the first time when I was 13. Writing was the gift I received from the One (I call it Mom because it sounds female and very motherish to me (even when I am bad hehehehe). So I became the messenger and I write what I am given. They are supposed to be published but I have not found the one that is upposed to publih it nor the agent brave enough to take them on. They are what they are but folks that have read them say they have changed their lives. I suppose it is because they were meant to read them when they did. I really don't think it has anything much to do with me. Wisdom comes, Mom comes and then writing is produced. In spite of all that, I am nothing. I know I am nothing and I am happy with that. When I am nothing I don't have to have all the answers, nor meet up to anybody else's expectation. I don't need to worry about "dressing" the part because it is all a game and if I dress the part when I do it is because that is the role that I play to attract those that can only be reached in that manner (I call it the smells and bells). But it is only a game. My husband as well had a similar experience when he was little. When he tried to explain what he had seen (he sees) he was put into a church and forced to become a church of god preacher at the age of 15. One day when he was giving a sermon on love a black family came in the back of the church to atted and the entire church got silent. They had been loud and boisterous a moment before and now they grew silent and watchful. He felt no love. He walked out at that moment because as he explained to them before he left, "I cannot stay because while you preach love, youhave none". He hasn't looked back. Two years later he became an Army Ranger. He also is led by the voice of Mom. He is where he needs to be, as well as I. Funny we met years later (each after having been unsuccessfully) and our early years were so alike). He retired from the Army, met me. I retired from working for the government for 30 years some f it was served while I was in the Army). And, here we are. But that is another story for later perhaps.
