Ravens Realm

The Raven is messanger of the other world, and the DarkGoddess,The Raven brings Magick to where it goes
The Raven can be found throughout mythology and has much to share and teach us. It also has gifts to bring if open.
The Raven befriends whom She wills,,,,,
The Raven is part of the Crow family
and is known for great problem solving skills
Like crow raven does like play and can be mischievious
To the Cherokee, somone may correct me if wrong
Raven is not such a good omen as it
about death, and associated with evil or negativity

I think because of misunderstanding and fear
Yes Raven is associated with death and the Death Goddesses
However Death brings liberty and rebirth

Raven (Corvus corax) is a member of the Corvidae family, which includes Jays, Crows and Magpies. Raven can be found throughout most of the Northern Hemisphere, the high Arctic
islands of Canada, Europe and even in the deserts of North Africa. A passerine (perching) bird, it is the largest blackbird in the world and can grow to a length of more than 60cm (24in).

In Scandinavian mythology Odin was the King of the Gods. He had two black Ravens, one called Huginn (“Thought”) the other called Muninn (“Memory”), these he sent out daily to gather information from all around the world. Odin also kept a pair of Wolves, one called Geri (Greedy) the other called Freki (Fierce). Wolves and Ravens have an old and close relationship in the wild, where both lived and survived together. A great deal of a Raven’s food came from scavenging carcasses left by Wolves, particularly in winter. As the God of War, both Wolves and Ravens would have been a common sight on Odin’s battlefields, scavenging on the bodies of the slain.

In some cultures the Raven was originally white, like in the in the Greek tale of Coronis the daughter of Phlegyes
I can tell you I have seen white Raven as She came to me before a major change and birthing a coven, this was in a dream in a ritual circle

The Raven has a long powerful bill that is slightly hooked, shaggy throat feathers and a long strongly graduated wedge-shape tail. Its body has a mostly black iridescent plumage and its eyes are dark brown. Ravens survive in many types of habitat and normally live for up to 10 or 15 years in the wild, but in capivity its lifespans has been greatly increased. Those in the Tower of London have been recorded living up to 40 years.

Ravens are great Shapeshifters
They can teach us to shapeshift in any situation to do what needs be done. They fly into the darkness into the spirit world and unknown, They carry creative and the mysteries with them. You could say they are the keeper of secrets of mysteries.

I'm still figuring out what I should discuss. I'm going to let the goddess guide my words.
