My sympathies to all who have lost a loved one...I love my dogs more than most of the people I know ...and it would be hard to lose them

Ruby, my cat died in August this year, at home andright in frontt of me. i had adopted her from an animal shelter and she was with me for 9 years. Howie, my dog was also adopted from the same shelter and he was with me for 10 years. He died on Janaury 11, 2010 in my arms after going through convulsions. It feels like part of me died with both of them. Mostly with Howie but then again with Ruby.

Please help, look on face book,it's graphic and very sad.there is a spot where you can email your comments to the D.A'S office so they can
go after the sick people for what they did. its under the title of justice for rigby

I've have had so many pets since i was 3. Now that i'm well over 50, I
still remember everyone of them, to me they will always be with me,

hi, i am new to the group. i lost my horse a couple of years ago and havent really gotten over it. i had my horse since i was in 5th grade. i lost him to arthritsis in his knees. sometimes i think that he is still around as a spirit

Thank you for creating this group. A few years ago I attended my first formal Samhain ritual. The priestess led us in a wonderful ceremony of remembrance for all the loved ones we had lost in the past year - human and animal kind - and though human friends of mine passed over that same year, the most grievous loss was KetaBoo, a mixed breed dog who walked with me for 13 years. She helped me raise 4 children (also several cats and a big Snowdog). She taught me the true meaning of loyalty, dedication, and empathy. She brightened each day with her unflagging enthusiasm for life. My favorite memory is of watching her run toward me full tilt across a field, ears flattened by the wind, tongue lolling in ecstasy just from the sheer joy of living. Blessings upon your soul, Boo, wherever you walk these days.

I just lost my 2 year old black cat jinxy do to reasons that the vet couldn't even give me a reason So .250 dollars later and a free autopsy for the vets education i am left lost in deep sadness and an emptiness that i am sure i will never fill.
