I have an etsy shop with a runic wall organizer that would make an excellent Christmas present

greetings; I have something on Feoh (F) sending rune - male - color is red, he is protection.

 protection of soul entities

he is for strenghtening psychic powers

he is the God of livestock, money, power

he will increase your personal monetary wealth

 he will transfer magic power

use him to hasten affairs to their next stage

use him for protection of valuables

he is the rune of new journey's

this rune rules the basic force of fertility, birth, life, death and rebirth

he is the channel for power transference or projection drawing the projected power of the sun, moon and stars into the personal sphere.

it is the rune of promotion of personal and social evolution

it is the rune of energy and wealth

these are things that i have gotten from books, so i am not sure how correct they are but it gives me something to work with anyway. I will give the rest of my runes list ifpeople want later on.

I would appreciate knowing what people think of what I have just put down. Thank you.

I have been away from the runes for a while thinking they were not wanting to work with me. Then I find this group and pulled out my bag of runes and reached inside and got one rune. When i looked at it, it was Berkano- Rebirth in the spirit. Ok, you taught me a lesson. Thank you Odin and Berkano.

Ga Asatruar, traditionally runes were cut from a "fruit bearing tree," which includes nut trees like pecans. There isn't as much information on the magical properties of pecan trees as others since they are native to N. America, not Europe where the Norse and Celtic magical traditions originate. The associations I've found are money, employment, prosperity, dreams, and discipline. I looked up hickory since pecans are a type of hickory and found a bit more information:

Hickory Wood
Masculine energy. Hickory is sacred to the Celtic God Lugh and the Greek God Apollo. Hickory is closely related to the oak and many of those properties apply.
Magical Properties: Use this wand in magic that seeks direction, abundance, wholeness, and general acquisitions. It can be a source for developing leadership skill and creating an influence of presence.

I'm new to runes and am trying to learn all I can abou them. I know the best way to learn is to have them and use them. I want to carve a set for myself instead of buying so that they will be more personal to me. I can't decided what is the best material to use.
I am leaning toward Pecan wood because through most of my life there has a been a large Pecan tree outside my bedroom (even after I moved from my childhood home to my adult home). I don't know anything about Pecan wood but obviously it's been around me for a reason. Any info on this wood and any magickal properties it has would be appreciated, is it a good wood for runes?
Hail all and may Asgard Bless

I became interested in runes immediately after discovering heathenism several years ago. I've since made/collected several sets of the Elder Futhark and have had excellent results using them in divination and charms.

Uruz...seems always a good rune to me. Strength of body and spirit. I had it in my purse, which spilled over, and as I gathered up the items, saw this rune and took note. Thank you Odin and sisters of the Wyrd Tree.

I drew the rune Kauna this day...I see the effect of light upon touchy subjects. Things in my day that need to be made clear even if they are not easy to look at...
This is so true for me! Having a relationship w/ a BA Chrsitian I have neglected my own spiritual needs to keep the peace. I am reminded by this rune to be true and grow a spine!
Blessed be the runes of Odin

Greetings,
I have drawn runes many a day and found it to be a helpful guide and sometimes so literal to be just plain funny!
Glad to find this group.
