Hello everyone!!!!! My name is Robin McLean. I live in Canada but I have Scottish roots too. My Grandmother was a McDougall & a McLean ( by Marriage) so I am hoping to find out so information or something on those 2 clans.

I'm a registered member of the MacPherson clan society, and have connections to Clan Murray. Here I am at work, wearing my MacPherson Red kilt at my place of employment.

Ok since I messed up the first time ,I'll be brief. My husband and I came from families where the family came first. We have continued with that with our sons, their wives and grandchildren. Our boys grew up falling sleep to 49er drums at Powwows and waking to Bagpipes. I think they have a feeling of being a part of the world and they have responsibilities to do what needs to be done, not just taking things for granted.

Anyone attending any Scottish Highland Games this summer? We have two in Milwaukee. Both are fairly small, but have dance and athletic competitions. A few clan societies, the Robert Burns club, and the St. Andrews society have booths there. A nice way to spend a weekend.
