Hello all.

My friends and I are planning a Solstice Celebration, Friday, June 21 - Sunday, June 23, at a private campground 45 minutes from the Hesperia exits of I-15, (or 30 minutes from Apple Valley, if you want to view it that way.)

We would be able to have a stage with music, entertainment and dance, and the owners are cool with any sort of costume or the lack thereof. Fires and fire celebration is also permitted.

Their costs are very reasonable, that split by (let's say) 100 people, the entire experience would be a $85 ticket.  That price would include three days of camping, all costs for the infrastructure needed for living on the site, and even a group of DJs.  Also, for those who are able to get off of work Monday, the night of Sunday, June 23 is a Full Moon, and we're pretty certain the owners would have no problem with people staying the extra night if they wished to do so. (Though our Solstice event would end Sunday at noon.)

Anala, I just looked where Victorville is and I'm way south in San Diego.  I know LA and the surrounding area has a lot of pagans.  Hope you find some really great ones!  *hugs*

Hi Anya!  Welcome and Merry Meet.  There are probably pagans in your area.  I used to know a couple who lived in Temecula but they've moved.  Otherwise I would so give you their #.  Most of the pagans I've met have been through a renaissance group I'm in (Adrian Empire).  I know they have a chapter in San Diego and another in LA.  Also, meetup.com groups are a great way to meet new people.  Are there any within driving distance of you?

Salut, everyone! I'm in Valley Center..probably no one even knows where that is, ha. It's..sort of southeast of Temecula. I'm so glad to that there is a Southern California group! I have literally no pagan friends yet, surrounded by christians..(nothing wrong with that but I can't talk to anyone or I get called a devil worshiper. Silliness.) Anyways...lovely to be here!
