Summerizing your fireplace!
So in between doing all the heavy equipment work in the backyard.
I also fixed up my fireplace so that I can enjoy the warm glow of the fireplace without the heat.
All you will need is a bit of duct tape, aluminum foil (heavy), cardboard and candles.
Cut the cardboard to fit the 3 sides of your fireplace, wrap the cardboard in aluminum foil (shinny side out). Then if needed add tape to the backside to hold the panels in place.
Now my fireplace has a bit of a lip at the top so I can just lap my foil over the top.
I love the warm glow off the fireplace and I have even caught my friends standing in front of it like it is going to warm thier hands..*giggle*

That looks so cosy we have a huge inglenook and during the Summer I place small mirrors on either side of the walls and then hang crystal chimes. In the morning the sun hits them and sends beautiful reflections all around the room. I love my fireplace Winter and Summer. Eamane'
