He Who Would Dream Of Fairyland

It was late on an eve in midsummer,
I fell sleeping on the green,
And when I awoke in wonder, I saw
What few mortal men have seen.
Changelings, fays and sprites,
A mighty swarm, all had taken to the air,
And before them passed their Fairy Queen,
She.. the fairest of the fair.

And her mantle was of Queen Anne's lace,
Her skirt was of grass green silk,
And round her crown lay pearls,
One, two, three, as white as cowslips milk.

And then came her ladies, one, two, three,
All radiant by her side,
'Come hither' she cried 'Sweet bonny knight'
'Take a fairy for your bride.

One wore a gown of wild thyme blooms,
One wore bluebells in her hair,
One wore a cloak of elder leaves,
Each was fairer than fair.

'Then who shall you choose my bonny knight
Pray which of my ladies one, two, three?'
'Tis none of the maidens, lady fair,
Tis thee that I choose, tis thee.'

'So that's who you choose my bonny knight
Ah, what fools ye mortals be,
Ye're not the first of my suitors, and
Tis I who must choose, not ye.'

Without another word she faded
Like grey mist upon the moor,
And she left me there alone again,
Just as I had been before..

Thanks forrest willow that is a very nice thing to say, i am glad you visted to see my website, I hope more will visit to see the wonder of the earth's elements spirit that is present in my work. I can't wait to get a package of herbs I am waiting on to create a sacred fire. I do this twice a year. Thanks again, for giving my heart a smile this morning. What a great way to start a Sunday. OH wow, my wife's birthday is tomorrow, guess i better get wrapping her present! Her brother's birthday is today, He died a few years ago, he was a druid high priest in Newyork, we will be celebrating his life that touched so many lives. He is one of my spirit guides, I am still today blessed by his essence.

twice a year i do a scared fire and cast health and wealth spells for people. i open the magic circle, light a campfire, do my spell casting, photograph the fire for several hours. this time we will be video taping it as well. I am also going to use mugwart its on its way to me. the next full moon we will be doing this. I get awesome results, for those who want to see my fire art can go to my website and click on my earth art page. there you will find water and fire elements and smoke used, its awesome the things i receive.
