For those who love the goddess Bastet She is aspect of the divine mother, Egyptian avatar of home and children, but also mirth and tricks! Adopted by Isis and Osiris, she was shadowy goddess of death in Africa, now a symbol of redemption

Comment by WolfMageGirl9 on April 8, 2013 at 1:01pm MM all. I am new to this group, and fairly new to learning more of Egypt such as worshiping Bast. Hopefully I can learn much from this group.
Blessings.

Comment by Ur Hekau on December 16, 2012 at 4:29pm I suppose if the old ritual have been lost to history then the only way to carry out worship would be to try invoking Bast, trying getting attuned and see what is suggested. The Egyptians seemed to use a lot of prayers, spells, incense and offerings in the book of the dead. Can't hurt to try and carve out a new path.
Comment by SerianAngel on December 12, 2012 at 9:54pm So how does one actually go about worshiping Bastet? I mean specific prayers and rituals and such. I'm afraid I haven't been able to find much in my research so far.
