Hi. I'm new here to this site. I'm curious which ceremonial magic traditions everyone here practices and for how long? I'm a GD girl. I'm curious to know the experience level in here because I sometimes have research questions I like to bounce off of others and it's nice to know who has been at it a while.

Being raised in a strong christian faith. I never entertained the thought of other religions/lifestyles. Let alone one of occult nature. Things  like ceremonial magic were looked at as devil worship, or evil. Now that i have grown up and have had the chance to broaden my knowledge. I have noticed time after time. The connections between the standard christian beliefs and the modern occult views.

One incident that comes to mind happened shortly after my journey down the path of occultism. I was having a conversations with my father, and he asked me a question. He asked if i believed in miracles. Of course my answer was yes. Or at Least that was my my immediate answer. After returning home I started some research to expand my occult knowledge. Some time during my research the question my father asked me came to mind. This time I gave it a little more thought. I realized that I don't believe in miracles the way that i thought i did. As a ceremonial magician I can control what happens in my life regarding the idea of miracles. Miracles still exist in my mind, but they are not just a random thing that only happen once in a while. What i mean by this is, I don't have to rely on chance for something to happen. If there is something i need I can will it to happen, and therefore it must happen if i go through the proper steps. From the view of a standard christian it would be called a miracle, but from my view or the view of another magician it is no more than a manifestation.

There are many more connections that are grander than this. However i am still intrigued time after time as i stumble across more situations that to my family are evil, but in reality are no different then their beliefs.
