Comment by JB Gold on November 5, 2012 at 10:06pm I will post the recipe I used for the braided egg bread and photos if you want. Just have to dig them out. Currently getting ready for a trip to Rapid City to pick up some things including a strap for a tredle sewing machine I inherrited from a gentleman I use to help with his wife. She had allshimers.... Sorry, I don't do well with spelling. no dictionary handy either.... The gentleman was a serigat father and taught me some old skills for photography. He passed away awhile back... I miss him.

Comment by Party Pooper on November 4, 2012 at 4:29pm While visiting the Tucson Celtic Festival I spoke to a blacksmith (Bill) and leather crafter who was very kind. He makes his own knives and leather items such as pouches, scourges, knife sheathes, and more. His wife (Donna) is a seamstress who makes beautiful traditional wear from the Renaissance period (she was not at the fair for me to speak with) but her friend was there to show me what she has made.
Comment by Party Pooper on November 4, 2012 at 4:07pm Today I went to the Tucson Celtic Fesival & Scottish Highland Games and met some artisans. I was taught many things and I have names of the groups and artisans who were very friendly and gave me some wisdom.
Below is a group called CROFT (Celtic Reinactment Organization Fellowship and Trades. The are based in Phoenix, Arizona. They demonstrate traditional crafts/trades from Reniaissance period. They learn, teach and go to public fairs and gatherings to show that old artisanry is still alive! I learned a lot from them, about looms, making yarn thread, weaving, wood carving, and stick weaving! It was fantastic meeting these people! Their website is: http://www.crofters.org

Applesause is awesome I love the stuff! Nutmeg Applesauce sounds really good. Cant wait to see what you are making with your dremel tool! I have to go buy a new wood burner, the head to my last one broke. I had a dremel set but it's lost. Glad to see you are hear!
Comment by Adolpha Gavina on November 4, 2012 at 2:38am Yes indeed, Felis Draco...they can be tasty - though in my zest for new tasty applesauce recipes - I have made a few that were not so - ummm - appetizing ;o) Those I have been able to use in applesauce cakes and muffins.
