Greetings to all! I am looking for binding/banishing spells to add to my BOS. While I have dozens of craft books, I have found that very few adress these spells in detail. And, of course, my intent with these spells are to harm none...I have banishing spells to break bad habits, but would love to have more spells on binding/banishing legal matters and persons who clearly have harmful intentions...My BOS is severly lacking in this area! Blessings, Ianna

I have a couple charms for court success. A chant for justice. Oh I found one. I also have a good luck spell.

This is just a simple banishing spell. It's for when you continue to let the past run your future.

Materials needed:
A piece of blank white paper.
Writing utensil
a lighter

Write down the name of the person or people thoughts that are constantly in your mind; three times. Followed by this chant "I will no longer allow you to have control over my life." As you chant burn the paper.

If you need more or if you want spells for court success or justice let me know.

Blessed Be Lexia

I have had great luck with a ritual similar to this. Before I begin, I review my goals and what I do desire. On the front of the sheet, I write the qualities in me that I have, that I feel need to rise in energy, and on the reverse, I place the name of the person who may be using their energy to inhibit or block my goal (mostly unknowingly).

And I trade, their blocking energy with a goal they truely desire, while I raise the energy of the trait I need.

On the night of a dark moon in winter, collect clean snow (preferably freshly fallen).
Allow to melt and store in a dark place.
Prior to performing your spell, pour the water into an ice tray (I recommend only one cube per day you will perform your spell and keep the ice cubes small) and cover with a dark cloth. Freeze.
Add a little of the water to a diffuser. You will want a sturdy diffuser. You may also do this in a cauldron over a fire or for the kitchen witch, in your spell pot on the stove.
Place ice cube in the diffuser or pot and turn on the heat (candle or stove).
In your hand, hold about a spoonfull of salt and visualize what you are working to banish.
When the ice begins to melt, toss the salt into the pot and proclaim your intention aloud.
Allow the ice to melt and completely evaporate.

ASFOETIDA- write the person(s) name on parchment or brown paper bag with red ink or Dragon's Blood ink (not oil), 3,7or 9X's up to each writing state the banishment/binding ie stay away hit the road etc add the ASFOETIDA to the paper roll away from you then burn scatter the ashes to the wind, bury it away from your home,or you can flush it down the toilet it's up to you the main objective is that it works.You have 4 theives vinegar for banishing & binding with black yarn you can use that with a purple candle I'm big on reversing negative energies If u don't mind I will send you some other spells on a few other items as well but mainly the Banishings/bindings per your request.

Ianna, why not attempt to draft your own spells?! They can be as easy or as complex as one desires. And, in the end, they are far more rewarding ventures in an effort to express your personal sense of creativity.

So, let's imagine that we want to perform a simple Candle Spell to bind one from causing harm, we would need to know a bit about Candle Magick basics, and might first consult such classics as:

* Charmain Dey's "Magic Candle"
* Henri Gamache's "The Master Book of candle Burning"
* The Key of Solomon (contains a chart or correspondences from the Renaissance period denoting the days of the week [and planets] and their respective colors)
* "Practical Candle Magic", by Michael Howard is also very good.
* http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagic.html (Another great resource!)

The first two texts are excellent resources for choosing a candle color (two choices might be indigo for inertia, or black to bind and restrict, according to Dey; while The Key of Solomon associated black with Saturday, and by default, Saturn).

Now, let's imagine that you've chosen to cast a very simple single-candle spell into which you'll anoint this candle once you've carved into it that which to need to bind. We should consult a few good herbals with which to choose the herbs or essential oils to blend in order to draft your personal Binding Oil:

* "Herb Craft", by Anna Franklin and Susan Lavender (a fav. of mine!)
* "A Modern Herbal", by M. Grieve (2 Vols.)
* "Plants of Love", by Christian Ratsch
* "The Dictionary of Sacred and Magical Plants", by Christian Ratsch
* "777 and other Kabbalistic Writings", by Aleister Crowley (a classic compendium of correspondence tables!)

NB: I do not, however, endorse Scott Cunningham's Herbal Encyclopedia, because it bases itself in half-remembered and garbled folk-lore, so it's almost useless in certain regards!

You will also need two great books on how to create your own incenses and oils, at this point, so I would recommend:

* "Magical Incenses and Oils", by Anna Franklin
* "The Complete Book of Incense, Oils & Brews", by Scott Cunningham

So, now that you have blended your Binging Oil, inscribed your black taper candles, all you have to do is anoint it, stick it back in the candle holder, and light the wick! It can be as simple as that. You might also consult a brilliant book on Witchcraft which discusses quantum mechanics and charging herbs: Laurie Cabot's "Power of the Witch"!

Personally, I will never understand a Witch worth the word who either does not, or cannot craft his or her own spells and potions. And, perhaps worse, yet, IMO, are those whose so-called "Book of Shadows" (a purely Gardnerian convention) is nothing more than the spells and rituals posted by others, usually on-line or from books, instead of their own original work. I once saw a "Witch" on-line a number of years ago who declared that she intended to be buried with *hers*, and it was only print-outs from off-line that were secured in a 3-ring binder! What the...?! I couldn't believe what i was reading... *sigh* She was behaving as if it were some holy writ which, based off of her practices, it obviously was not.
