I'm hoping we can learn....get creative...personalize our magickal tools....and have some fun here....Throughout the many Pagan groups I'm in and have been in....I have noticed that sometimes people have a hard time aquiring certain tools....oils.....bath salts... etc...Or are looking for information on how to make charms...candles.... incenses and more....So I thought that compiling all this 'do it yourself' information in the same place would be of some help to all of us....

'The Crafty Witch' is a group intended for people that would like to learn to 'craft' some of their own magickal tools.....candles....incenses....etc....It's also a place to swap crafts...ideas....and recipes related to the group.....Some of the information here will be of my own making.....some will be of information I have gathered from around the web....Please feel free to contribute with your own information....I would like to cover as much as possible...whether it be on beading...charms....etc.....and I'd like to keep the work as simple as possible.....Please do not hesitate to make requests....Feedback and/or advice on any of the projects you may try here would be greatly appreciated....Let's keep our minds and hands busy....and have fun with the 'craft'.....

Have fun.....Sassy Jezebel

All the lipsticks I have made so far, aside from a few limited ones. I'm kinda proud of them by now.

Amethyst, I'll be honest, sometimes I don't know how I do it.  Other than being terribly stubborn & single-minded (great for focus!).  Paracord makes way more sense now lol, I have seen some of those and yes they've been popular for a bit of time now.

The two businesses aren't too bad because they're essentially completely different, one is products, the other services so it's not the same kind of work all the time and each gives a nice change of pace for me too.  However switching between two different business models and their differing demands takes some finesse!

Hello all :) I love anything artistic. I recently starting making jewelry to help with my anxiety. It really helps.

Hi guys! Aradia, Felis is 100% correct. I meant paracord. My goofy autocorrect just will not allow some things and if I forget to go back and fix it it looks bizarre. Thanks Felis. Appreciate the correction.

She's got quite a few things in her shop now Aradia. She does some jewelry...relatively simple beading and the paracord stuff. I am so craft impaired (except for sewing) that I am always amazed at anything other folks can do. She's done some neat things with the paracord and I searched on etsy for "paracord" just to see what they had. Oh dear dog. There were 250 pages of results. Some amazing stuff. It's really kinda neat. The bracelets have been real popular for awhile. Like I said, I just look at everything with this wide-eyed amazement! Sorry. Can't help it. ;-p

I don't know how you do it Aradia. A "real" job and two art shops. And all the other stuff you do. Pretty amazing. Though I must admit I did similar crazy bush things when I was a bit younger and didn't have my son. I was just telling my friend Andrea with the paracord stuff that I think I lost my mind in the delivery room. Hahaha! She's got 3 kids...the youngest is almost 2. I don't know how she does it either.

I'm always looking for something that I think I can do because I really am terrible at making stuff. Someday I'll figure something out. Hahaha!

I think maybe she means "paracord".

Thanks Amethyst!  And I've never heard of it either (not that I follow things if they aren't fiber arts too closely).

I can't wait to share stuff too!  I've been so focused on the numerology work for my other biz that between it and swing shifts at work I haven't been able to give my shop any love.

Hi all! Robin G. I checked your Etsy store. Wow. Beautiful work. I quickly favorited it and favorited several items. I can't wait to get a few things. Aradia...same with your things. Gorgeous as always. Zu---very nice art. Awesome tarot deck idea. Love that. I collect decks and I would certainly add those to my collection.

As y'all know, I'm craft impaired so I do have an appre oration for others' art. Makes me wish I could contribute! Ha!

On a l'il different note...anyone ever worked with para odd? A friend has just opened an Etsy shop making para odd items and beaded jewelry. I know when you think para odd you think of the same bracelet we e all seen a zillion times right? Nope. She has found many different patterns and they are quite beautiful. Her jewelry is nice too. It's aCamilleCreation if anyone wants to check it out. I was just amazed at the different designs available. Yeah I know...I look at anyone with a talent with doe eyed wonder! Being craft impaired does that to ya! Hahaha!

As I was attempting to jog this mornings (it's hot so I walk/jogged) I was listening to a science podcast about 3D printers. I lust for one of these, have no use for it, but it sounds so fun.  So the question is what would you make on your 3D printer??  And does anyone have or used one?
