I'm hoping we can learn....get creative...personalize our magickal tools....and have some fun here....Throughout the many Pagan groups I'm in and have been in....I have noticed that sometimes people have a hard time aquiring certain tools....oils.....bath salts... etc...Or are looking for information on how to make charms...candles.... incenses and more....So I thought that compiling all this 'do it yourself' information in the same place would be of some help to all of us....

'The Crafty Witch' is a group intended for people that would like to learn to 'craft' some of their own magickal tools.....candles....incenses....etc....It's also a place to swap crafts...ideas....and recipes related to the group.....Some of the information here will be of my own making.....some will be of information I have gathered from around the web....Please feel free to contribute with your own information....I would like to cover as much as possible...whether it be on beading...charms....etc.....and I'd like to keep the work as simple as possible.....Please do not hesitate to make requests....Feedback and/or advice on any of the projects you may try here would be greatly appreciated....Let's keep our minds and hands busy....and have fun with the 'craft'.....

Have fun.....Sassy Jezebel

I am still here everyone. I just have not had a chance to look up crafty things because I am trying to keep a roof over my head. But I am still around. Welcome all of our new members

Woohoo for naalbinding!  That's on my list of "things I need to learn" (because I'm a fiber fanatic!)

Hello, everyone. I'm new to the community. I love to create, recycle, and learn new crafts. I macrame, naalbind, paint, lost wax cast silver, and make musical instruments. I love to work with my hands (I'm a craftsman by trade). My goal in life is to learn and to share my knowledge with others. I can't wait for inspiration and ideas from all of you, and I hope I can offer you the same.

I think the easiest way to figure this out i to go to some of the youtube tutorials...I like this one: https://youtu.be/tvYEZvgSpXM

That is amazing. I've been looking for some weaving techniques for lughnasadh celebrations. Do you happen to have any inductions? Other ideas?

@Lady Majyk apparently I've seen this before, but never done it.  It looks neat!  Thanks for sharing! :D

Does anyone do Wheat Weaving? It has been a long time since I have done any.

Amethyst: Love your last line. Of course, I would not let not being able to set up my machine/workspace/etc. stop me from adding to my stash! *grin* right now I am so behind on adding to my bead stash with all the new "shaped" seed beads that have been coming out!

Felis I'm jealous of the quilt shows. I've never been to one. None near enough. Occasionally there will be a display somewhere and I'll go to that. The WIP/UFO "phenomenon"...or addiction I shoukd say. Always a new fabric line or pattern to try. Same with other craft forms I suppose. I've not had a place to set up my machine for awhile and im missing it terribly. Someday sooner than later I hope to be able to return to it. *heavy sigh* Then I can start collecting more fabrics to add to my stash. Ha!

Amethyst: I think lots of WIPs goes along with the creative minded!  I tend to want to hop around and have "all the things" worked on at one time so lots of things unfinished!
