I'm hoping we can learn....get creative...personalize our magickal tools....and have some fun here....Throughout the many Pagan groups I'm in and have been in....I have noticed that sometimes people have a hard time aquiring certain tools....oils.....bath salts... etc...Or are looking for information on how to make charms...candles.... incenses and more....So I thought that compiling all this 'do it yourself' information in the same place would be of some help to all of us....

'The Crafty Witch' is a group intended for people that would like to learn to 'craft' some of their own magickal tools.....candles....incenses....etc....It's also a place to swap crafts...ideas....and recipes related to the group.....Some of the information here will be of my own making.....some will be of information I have gathered from around the web....Please feel free to contribute with your own information....I would like to cover as much as possible...whether it be on beading...charms....etc.....and I'd like to keep the work as simple as possible.....Please do not hesitate to make requests....Feedback and/or advice on any of the projects you may try here would be greatly appreciated....Let's keep our minds and hands busy....and have fun with the 'craft'.....

Have fun.....Sassy Jezebel

Hope everyone had a great Ostara.  Rainy and meh here, but flowers are blooming and its in the 60's so not bad.  Planning on some new ceramic items for the garden, time to get busy.

Love the drinking woodland critters and great poem.

It Is Ostara.. It's my favorite day of the year.

Prayer to the Goddess

Mother sublime and supernal,...
again and again You pour out
upon me Your bounty.
With each turn of the season You
vouchsafe to me some gift
without which I would be left wanting.
My spirit gropes feebly toward Your brightness;
You instruct my desire, as I
am but a child. reaching for her Mother.
Always You hold out Your hand to steady me
and rejoice my growth and understanding.
World-Mother of us all
to You I offer gratitude and praise.

Beryl - I've seen patterns for it on the standard pattern sites: Simplicity, McCalls and Butterick.  You might check there.

Has anyone made a vintage apron?

I love making these runes... These sets are Elder Futhark.. The staves are Manzanita wood from California . The box set I made with baked and processed real acorns. These White Oak  acorns are also from California . Thank you, for your nice comments.

Blessed Be
