I'm hoping we can learn....get creative...personalize our magickal tools....and have some fun here....Throughout the many Pagan groups I'm in and have been in....I have noticed that sometimes people have a hard time aquiring certain tools....oils.....bath salts... etc...Or are looking for information on how to make charms...candles.... incenses and more....So I thought that compiling all this 'do it yourself' information in the same place would be of some help to all of us....

'The Crafty Witch' is a group intended for people that would like to learn to 'craft' some of their own magickal tools.....candles....incenses....etc....It's also a place to swap crafts...ideas....and recipes related to the group.....Some of the information here will be of my own making.....some will be of information I have gathered from around the web....Please feel free to contribute with your own information....I would like to cover as much as possible...whether it be on beading...charms....etc.....and I'd like to keep the work as simple as possible.....Please do not hesitate to make requests....Feedback and/or advice on any of the projects you may try here would be greatly appreciated....Let's keep our minds and hands busy....and have fun with the 'craft'.....

Have fun.....Sassy Jezebel

Absolutely Robin!  Other than paint and clay I rarely purchase art supplies.  I prefer to paint on wood to canvas so I get The Man to make cradles from His scrap wood.  I've also made cradles from cardboard boxes so I save cereal boxes and such.  And the wall in my Zen Garden is made from wine bottles.  It casts a lovely glow in the evenings when the sun sets.

Happy Earth day everyone.  Don't forget to recycle everything into crafts :) Old messed up shirts make great Tarot Bags.  Old beer bottles can become candle holders, etc.

May the Earth Mother Bless you and may you honor her.

I wish I was in a ceramics class around here.  I did ceramics in high school and loved it.  Looks like those are gonna be pretty cool!  Robin G. and Socky are so ceramics talented...

I am currently making some ceramic plant markers this week.  If anyone would like to request specific plants I would be happy to make them.  I will be selling these in sets of 5 over in my Etsy store (Gryphonwyck) for $15 + 5 shipping. The stamps I have available for the top are the cauldron pictured, triple moon, male moon, crescent moon, and star. They are about 7" long and 1" wide.  These will be a light green with dark green in the letters and stamps.  So let me know if anyone is interested.  Also this is great project for all those people in ceramics class right now.

Can't wait to see it finished, Socky!

It's been a while since I last made one, but here's my second ceramic cauldron, for a friend. Of course it will have shiny black finish. It's slightly smaller than the one I made for me, and a bit nicer because I'm not as much of a ceramic newb as I was when I made mine. It's still a bit rough, but we both think it looks cool that way.

Afternoon! How are you feeling Amethyst?

Good afternoon all! Beautiful work everyone. Socky there's no reason you can't post pics of your work. If you want to "advertise" you can post links in a discussion that's here on this group or you can post on your personal blog here on PS. If you're selling it I'm sure many would love to have a link. I know I would!
