I'm hoping we can learn....get creative...personalize our magickal tools....and have some fun here....Throughout the many Pagan groups I'm in and have been in....I have noticed that sometimes people have a hard time aquiring certain tools....oils.....bath salts... etc...Or are looking for information on how to make charms...candles.... incenses and more....So I thought that compiling all this 'do it yourself' information in the same place would be of some help to all of us....

'The Crafty Witch' is a group intended for people that would like to learn to 'craft' some of their own magickal tools.....candles....incenses....etc....It's also a place to swap crafts...ideas....and recipes related to the group.....Some of the information here will be of my own making.....some will be of information I have gathered from around the web....Please feel free to contribute with your own information....I would like to cover as much as possible...whether it be on beading...charms....etc.....and I'd like to keep the work as simple as possible.....Please do not hesitate to make requests....Feedback and/or advice on any of the projects you may try here would be greatly appreciated....Let's keep our minds and hands busy....and have fun with the 'craft'.....

Have fun.....Sassy Jezebel

There are tutorials on how to do cable knit on looms, but I've never tried it.  I got bored today and threw together the tablet sleeve.  It's a little longer than I expected, but it should fit.

@ Zu, nice!  I just got a tablet too and I hadn't thought about using the looms for it at all!  (But I did find a sleeve I want that has this gorgeous cable pattern on it that matches my hat.)

Bethel...your ornaments are just lovely!

I have all the circle and rectangular ones.  I'm hoping to make a sleeve for my new tablet next month, once I get it and can get the measurements down properly.

@ Zu, I've got it for those bits I don't know what else to do with.  But I'm a bigger fan of needle knitting.  It's nice not to have to worry about gauge though!

I got all the circle ones, 1 rectangular one, then some of the tiny ones which are really made for motif making.  But I want all the rest they have by Boye.  I also have the Martha Stewart loom/weaving because it's multi-use and I love multi-use things!

Oooo Aradia! Loom knitting!  I have a bunch of those here...

Speaking of trees...I was checking my FB feed for my shop, and someone I follow posted a link to some crocheted ornaments.  So now it's decided!  I'm going to get crazy and before Yuletide (Goddess willing) I'm going to make a rainbow delight of ornaments!

I'm also going to be supporting some artists I know by ordering different kinds of ornaments each year.  I know a felt artist who makes the cutest animals & a pyrographer who I'm an absolute fangirl over.

In the meantime...this scarf is the bane of my existence it seems...

Got too much blank white space behind my tree, so I am working on a plaque project, JOY, in 3 panels, using a pretty tissue paper for background, a sliver glitter wrapping paper left over from last Yule, and ribbon to hang on the wall. Should do the trick : )

Bethel, those are awesome, love wood burning, I've seen some beautiful work done with buening, I just can't seem to get control, sometimes my burns go too deep or too wide. So I admire the time and attention to the details you put into these. Where do you find the little rounds? Do yu cut them yourself? Beautiful!!
