You guys have helped me ot learn allot and are great for generally bouncing ideas off of.

Also, I've been going through some things lately, and I've recently realized how my acceptance of the faith that is inside me (Heathenry/ Asatru/ Forn Sed...) has done allot ot pull me out of comfort zones. I'm a better person for it.

The gods don't care if your an atheist. :)

Hi Angelena, and welcome to the 'Stead. Heathenism is the beliefs and practices of the pre-Christian Northern Europeans as we believe and practice them today. That certainly involves veneration (at least) of the Norse Gods (like Odin and Thor, just to name two). Heathenism is also known as Asatru, although heathenism is the more popular term in some places, like on PS.net. My first introduction to heathenism and its practices was here. Isenhelm and myself are mods for this group, and please feel free to ask any questions of us or anyone in the group.

Greetings all! Im new to this site and I was wondering if someone can help me understand more about Odinism.
I know basic knowledge at the moment, but if someone can fill me in with a few pointers on how to be an Odinist and what their life style is like that would be grand!
