Hi there it is great to find this group.  I have enjoyed visiting Greece several times and have found a connection with the land and the Gods and Goddess of Greece. I hope that I can learn a lot from the people here.

Tonight is final night of Panathenaea, which celebrates Athena's birth. It was a great week.

Today is Athena's birthday, which is the climax of Panathenaea. However I found out that the New Moon won't be until Tuesday so this holiday is extended until tomorrow night and then we honor Hecate on Tuesday night. HAIL ATHENA!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and state this. I hope that none of you get mad but I feel that it's about time that I mention this. Our temples weren't destroyed by Christians but by men that were using a religion that they had once despised for political gains. People were paid good money to destroy them and so they did. They gained more and more power, all controlled by that fallen angel, Lucifer.

Now I don't believe in the Devil that has horns, cloven hooves, and a pitchfork. It's an insult to Pan and I would never do that. However I do believe in angels and I do believe that Lucifer was a fallen angel. He used a good religion, had his followers kill off the other sects of true Christians, and then ordered the destruction of the Pagan temples.

He didn't want the Gods in his way, he wanted to get rich, and he wanted to deceive people. Now we're back and he hates it. Well that's what I have to say on the subject.
