And into the Kitchen we go.

I've decided to find kitchen poems and prayers to be a way to welcome people into the group. Most seem to come from a Christian point of view, but I can live with that if you can. ;P

Aw, you're going to make me feel all glowy and blush, Jasmine.  I'm more than happy to have been able to help you so much.  Let us know how it goes?  :)

I still want to thank you for sharing it. I use a lot of herbs for healing, also with my candles, soaps, and such. So the size of the jar is a good idea for me. And it's a great way to recycle the bottles. And you have saved me the cost of buying bottles. So again, by sharing you have done a lot for me.

I wish I could take credit for this, but I found this from my facebook feed.  Kudos to whoever came up with it, though.  I may do this for my mom, who has an amazing herb garden, just so she can harvest the herbs rather than uprooting them at the end of the season.

I'm going to start saving my bottle for when my herbs start coming in. They will fit in my herb cabinet beautifully and I love how you put the names of the herbs on the from of them.

It's a simple idea, and I feel so silly for not figuring it out for myself.  It's wonderful, though!

That is cool, Briar! I can't wait to try it.

I just saw a neat way to recycle those Starbucks Ice Coffee glass bottles - cleaning them well and turning them into spice jars!  It would seem a lot of people found some sticky labels to put on them, but I was fond of the look of the frosted letters etched right onto the bottles.  I had never seen something like this before, and I thought that you all might enjoy it.

Kissytinkerbel: I love the picture of the kitchen. That is the kitchen of my dreams. Who knows. Maybe someday (I hope, I hope, I hope)

Hi Everyone!

Now that the sun is getting higher in the sky and the temperatures are FINALLY starting to rise above... like... absolute zero, we are ramping up for this year's Summerland Spirit Festival.

One of the events that we have each year is a community burlesque show, where most of the attendees of the festival put on whatever crazy outfit they can come up with and dance. It's a total fun PG kind of thing that includes participants of all ages and body types. It is hilarious!

We hope that some of you decide to come check us out. It's a great community of people who come from about a dozen different states in he Midwest region. You will have a blast.

Many Blessings!

Summerland Spirit Fest
