Morrigan and Th War with The Fir Bolgs.
The first attack on the Fir Bolgs was carried out by the Morrigan with Badb and Macha. The Fir Bolgs were camped at Tara Hill ( Co Meath) and the Tuatha De Danann need to keep them there while they moved to better ground, so that they will have the advantage in the upcoming battle. Morrigan, Badb and Macha work their magic, bringing down enchanted showers of sorcery and mighty showers of fire, and a downpour of red blood upon the warriors heads, preventing them from moving for three days and three nights. Before the two sides engage in battle the Morrigan cries out." The badba and monsters and hags of doom cried out that they were heard from the cliffs and waterfalls and in the hollows of the earth. The Morrigan in several oh her guises sets out a clear boundary for the batlte, which makes it clear for the forces of the Thatha De Danann that there will be no retreat from the battlefield. The three sorceresses, Badb, Macha and the Morrigan; Be Chuille and Danu, their two foster mothers. Thye fixed their pillars in the ground lest anyone flee before the stones should flee. The Tuatha De Danann defeat the Fir Bolgs in the Battle and take over Ireland.
