Wicca and New Thought
Hello,
A while back I left Wicca because I thought I was in the wrong place after all and during that time I discovered something called New Thought or Science of Mind which seems to have been created by a guy named Ernest Holmes. Then there's also the books by Neale Donald Walsch called, "Conversations with God" which seems to go along the same lines as New Thought.
Well I liked New Thought and still do but I was also drawn back to Wicca. I'm trying to mix the two together but I'm not sure if it's even possible. In New Thought there's the one creative Source which is simply called It at times and is considered to be everywhere and makes up and is within everything and everyone. Then in Wicca there's the Goddess and God.
I was also looking at my Tao Te Ching books the other night and had a thought. There's a line in the first chapter that says, "It was from the Nameless that Heaven and Earth sprang" Could the Nameless be that one creative Source that is spoken of an in New thought. And could the Heaven and Earth be the Goddess and God (Sky Father, Earth Mother)?
I tried googling Wicca and New Thought and found nothing and so I came hoping someone may be able to enlighten me a bit.

I don't see why not... If that explains godforms to you and it helps, that's good. Me I have never heard of this new thought, though so I am not knowing... Have a lovely day though. Goodly luck to you.

To use a Buddhist thought - think of life as a wheel, the spokes within that wheel are religions/beliefs - the hub of that wheel the source of all things, so all religions lead to the one. So does it matter what words we use to manifest our feelings and beliefs? It is all the circle of life and as Wiccans it's just another turning of the wheel.
