To start us off, here is what a Warrior is to me.

A warrior for this purpose is:

* one who is secure in himself
* requires no validation from without
* has the heart, soul, and mind aligned most of the time
* strives to be true to themselves
* is not a show off

Here are some Warrior Traits.

Warrior Traits

a. Seeing the truth of self

1). Taking responsibility for actions

2). Recognizing the truth in all things

3). Seeing the BIG picture

b. Self discipline

1). View every situation in balance

2). Develop analysis without emotion

c. Defense

1). Physical vs Mental defense

2). Magical defense

3). Defensive astral armor

d. Responsibility

1). accept consequences of actions

2). accept consequences of choices

e. Physical-mental fitness

1). death of the couch potato

Yes I would agree with All of the Above.... and they pretty much apply to me.... although I would not claim Mastery in them. As a Spiritual Warrior.....My battles are pretty much with Myself..... as I Grow and Develop.... yes even at my age I am growing.... When your Green you Grow, When your Ripe you Rot... I am far from rotting... lol

Glad to be here... thank you for inviting me.

Love and Blessings

Shadow,

No one is ever less or more than anyone else. People are either farther along or farther behind on the path.

It has been my experience that sometimes people who haven't gotten entrenched in a belief system or path, etc., can shed incredible light onto something that I might be having difficulty dealing with. So don't sell yourself and your insights short!

Blessings,

I with your views and definition of a Warrior. Althought I got the most of them down there is a few spots that definitely need more work on my part. Thank you for the invite. Peace and Love

It is my pleasure to be able to help you. Each of us is working all the time.

Do you have a particular set of deities that you feel close with??

Thank your for the invite;) I'd like to also add that it is also imperative that one walks the Shaman's Death in order to be reborn w/out the ego being the predominant characteristic. When one can release the ego & operate for a point of inner knowing then one can accellerate upon the path much faster. Our egos will kill us if given the chance. This is of course only a brief reply in regards to this process that one walks but may not understand. Also A warrior knows right action & responds accordingly. But other than that you gave a very detailed list of qualities/characteristics of a Warrior, well done;)

Much love & healing,
Akia

Thanks for your comment!! Also, the Shaman's Death - or as I call it the Little Death, is truly imperative to walking the path.!!

Blessings,
