Hey everyone!  I just wanted to say how thrilled I was to find this group.  I have a black thumb that just seems to kill plants.  Honestly, I killed ivy.  I've even killed cacti.  I sort of feel hopelessly lost as a green witch.  I want to have a beautiful witchy garden, but it just seems beyond me.  Any help y'all might be able to give would be greatly appreciated.  I'm looking forward to talking with you.

thinking I will start a Herb garden, maybe even some veggies :), any pointers on when to start? keeping in mind i'm from Canada and although it has been spring for awhile....its still pretty much winter lol

Hello everyone, I haven't actually started gardening yet, but it's something I've been reading about a lot, and really excited to start doing it. I'm starting small with easy-to-grow plants, which I'll also be giving to my hamster Poffin as gifts. Clover, Grass, Daisies, that sort of thing. :) My long-term goal is to grow a majority of my own food, and medicinal herbs. Most of my pagan-like beliefs come from my connection and fascination with plants. Glad I found this group!

Merry meet all! I am new to the group. I have just started planting again since moving. I have some lavender started right now, but soon expanding to other plants. I am fairly new to the Green Path and hope to learn much more about it.

Hello all. I am new to the group. I was looking for a active group in gardening of all kinds. Share ideas and knowledge.

My new thing I want to try is growing mushrooms in a dresser in the back yard. Has anyone tried this?

Catnip is amazing for indoors. Its regenerates itself rapidly. Well mine does, probably because of the fertilizer I put in it. I have to cut half the plant every few weeks. I also have a lavender plant but I get the feeling he would very much rather be outside lol.

You could put that plastic they use for windows during winter on your windows. Or you could create a greenhouse by using some pipes that curve and then putting plastic over it. :)

Hello! I live in a tiny apartment in a northern usa metropolitan area with north and east facing windows. But my east facing windows the glass is very thin (and old) so the temperature varies pretty significantly.I don't have much space, and very little experience, but I wanted to start growing a few herbs to supplement cooking and spell work. I just have no idea where to start. Any suggestions?
