I love the potato. What do you see when you look at it? I see a baby hippo looking back over his shoulder. LOL
The people south of the border always tie their peppers on a rope or twine and hang them in a warm, dry place. Often you see them hanging on a hook in the kitchen. I've never tried it myself but I'm assuming it must work because you see it done so often.

We are harvesting the last of our peppers & I was wondering if anyone has dried drying them...I'm looking for the best way to do this. Any suggestions?

Greetings and well met,

I am new to this site and overjoyed to have learned of it. I don't know if this is a repeat question, but what's the best non-toxic herb to try to keep moles, bunnies, and the like away from your outside garden? Hope all of you have a great weekend.

Greetings Earth Lovers! This October, an amazing opportunity to learn REAL sustainable lifestyle practices in community with hundreds. Learn practices and theory with experts in many fields at the 10th Continental Bioregional Congress. Will be held at The Farm, a 30+ year old intentional spiritual community in Tennessee. Even if you can't attend, check the website and its resource pages to learn more about creating the SANE world we want to see.. If you are coming, see you there!

I got started in growing herbs in my aero garden. I now have 2 in the house on a rotating schedule. I have my plants on my deck because the wild life will get to whatever I put in the ground. They just polished off my pansies- deer this time, they are getting more daring to get real close to our house. I could almost have reached out to them from our front door. They take naps under our trees-real cute.
