Welcome!

Hello folks. I want to tell you about Wolf Haven, and lay down some ground rules. First of all, this is a haven for anyone with wolf tendencies, kinship, lycanthropy, therianthropy, totemic association, or a spiritual path that demonstrates close kinship with wolves. People that are curious about us are also welcome, but any bashing, flaming, or stupidity will not be tolerated. This is not a place for politics or fantasy. This is a support and mutual education group. There are no Alpha's here, there are no rulers here. We each are responsible for our own actions. This is an adult website, and adult behavior is expected. If you are afraid to reveal something of your wolfy self, then feel free to lurk, participation is not required. Sometimes a sense of family is all you need, the idea that someone does understand where you're coming from. I hope you will find that here. Now, to iterate some rules.

1: No flaming.
2: No stupidity. By this, I mean no rampant trolling or argument for the sake of argument. If you wish to discuss something, keep an open mind.
3: No politics. By this I don't just mean democrat or republican. If you have a beef with a certain wolf, take it elsewhere. This is a haven, after all.
4: No Alphas. If you're a pack alpha, that's fine, but you won't be ruling or leading here. If you want to educate, that is encouraged, but don't act as though your word is law, whether you're a greymuzzle or an egoist.
5: Keep an open mind. We're not going with a specific kind of wolf here. We'll have all kinds of people, and they won't share your beliefs. Respect that, as they will respect you, and we'll learn a thing or two together.
6: If you're new, unsure, or scared, feel free to send me a private message. I'm always willing to talk and help out. If you have a question, speak up. That's part of why we're here.
7: Have fun. This is a good place to be, calm and welcoming. People like us get a lot of crazy looks. You won't get that here. Relax, have a pint, put up a paw.
