Wondered if anyone wants to discuss their preferrences whilst working?
Personally, when working alone, as Solitary, and not amongst our Robed Coven, I am happy enough -and lucky enough to be able to work Skyclad as my Altar area is not overlooked by neighbours.
Whilst with Coven however, we work Robed, and would not engage in skyclad working as we tend to use the ancient Sacred Places and Spaces, where Tourists and sightseers are likely to emerge at any time when the weathers warm enough and dry enough to otherwise go skyclad!
Only our underground temple offers the modicum of privacy and dignity that allows freedom of expression without voyeuristic folk who know of its existance.
What are your thoughts/experiences if you feel that you can share?
Blessings,
S.

As you can see by the report about Solstice at Stonehenge glynneth, its totally disgusting -and demoralising for many True pagans, to attend something thats one of the `free days` at our national Monument, and see such things happen -thats why we book and go for Private visits well ahead so we as a Coven can experience the place as it is -and should be, clean n tidy, and without dross and litter:)
Blessings,
S.

And I thought that it just felt "right" to be a naturalist in circle...there's a history to it, afterall!
Thanks for sharing!

i think it also depends on wether you feel at ease in a coven.there must be love acceptance and trust.if those ingredients are there.then why not let yourself be dressed by the sky?
Permalink Reply by Dark Saoirse Sapphire on June 18, 2012 at 8:26am Happy to be skyclad, weather and place permitted. Lets face it, no one wants to be arrested for indecent exposure by a police man, who's eyes are goggled at your breasts :)
I am not embarrased about my body, but I can understand how/why some people would feel odd being naked. It is human nature to feel attracted and also distracted by others. Luckily for me there is nothing insidious about the people I surround myself with.
Friends often ask my advice on skyclad or not, my advice 'If it turns out you don’t like being skyclad, you can always put your clothes back on'. 'Any group who INSISTS on you being naked, is suspect. Work within your own confort zone'.

I have always performed my ritual's and rite's Skyclad although I do not the normal path of the craft as I follow the Kemetic path of paganism. I was raised and taught by my mother who was a High Pristess of her coven. I am very lucky in having a wood as my back garden more or less,It's private and there's plenty of bushed and dense undergrowth and tall beech tree's. All my next door naighbour's know that I go Skyclad and leave me and my partner alone.

Permalink Reply by Joanne on December 30, 2012 at 4:59am .....its personnel choice I guess. I'm more comfortable being robed when not working as a solitary :)
Permalink Reply by Stuart Osborne on December 21, 2012 at 5:32am well if i could i would be naked all the time, unfortunetly the british weather and society have a different opinion on the matter :S skyclad is my preference, of course it does help that i live quite literally next to a forest :)
