Me and a friend have been creating a pantheonic corespondance chart, The idea is to show the similarities between gods in every culture in the world. It is a long and grueling project due to varfied research and that the meanings of many gods changed over time with their people but its comming along well soon you will be able to see the family tree of any god and how he/she relates to and and hopefull all other gods in the world

Sooo, what is going on with this group? Is there still a Unity of Beliefs gathering being planned for the Spring/Summer of 2009? Just wondering. It would be cool!

A most excellent thing you've started here Starrfire. I've always been a cultural pluralist myself, since way back. Towards faith, I've spent 20 years wanting, and 5 years trying, to build a multi-faith library/research center; because a single epiphany is often all it takes. A ministry of books, as it were. Attaining this goal has commonly proved to be much like trying to push a brick wall - but handing someone a tome that affirms their suspicions and moves them closer to theirown personal truth, whatever that truth is... well, that is a good thing.

Is there anything that those unable to attend UoB2k9 can do to promote the agenda? Well, I know there are things that we can do but I was asking in the context of this group. (Admittedly one thing I did do was become eclectic instead of just heathen, although that may have been the various pantheon's voices in my head, lol. Hopefully Starrfire will appreciate that I've added the Greeks to my list :)

I just joined the group, and I am new to PaganSpace. I really feel this group is a wonderful idea. I'm a member of a Pagan church that has a simlar idea as well.
Their goal is to: "promote Pagan freedom, and more importantly, Spiritual freedom by respecting the differences and finding peace through unity within all traditions, beliefs, & Spirituality of the nature paths."
I'm so happy to see others feel the same way.
