As a mother it is heartbreaking to see your child is sick and not be able to do anything. My son's belly was hurting today. He asked me to "do the energy thing" so I did some reiki on him. He's feeling so much better right now and is running around like a maniac. It makes me feel so good to have been able to help him.

Thanks hon. I actually do have a lot of digestive issues. I meditated on this last night and basically found that my body is trying to get rid of a lot of toxic buildup.
It's funny but since I've started doing the healings I have a stronger desire to be healthy. Eat right, exercise, quit smoking (something I've been struggling with), etc.

Hi Jayelle
When we perform a healing whether on ourselves or others, we often activate dormant issues which could be on the mental body or physical and may have lied there dormant until then. So the fact that your stomach is reacting means that the healing is working there. Persevere and continue self-healing on a daily basis until you feel the balance returning to you.

A few days ago someone attuned me to reiki over a long distance (I met her on livejournal). I did my first self healing today. It was awesome! I am wondering though....is it usual to get an upset stomach after reiki. The two times I had a healing and the one today sort of gave me the runs. (sorry for the gross factor here)
