I have 2 daughters of my own an adopted daughter and son and have lost a child to SIDS. So I think I can safely say I have been through just about everything.

My oldest daughter, adopted, is 20. Next is my son 17, adopted. Then I have my daughter 11, mine. My other daughter is 6, mine. And my other son died at 5 weeks {2/2/05-3/13/05} from SIDS, mine.

I try to do a more general theme for rituals like on Halloween we put out a plate of food and glass of milk ... I teach them the importance of the colors ... and thanking the plants and mother nature ... Little stuff to start off ... We are working on the elements and how they effect personality and peoples actions ...

what part of the cyrcle do you have kids in during your festivals. I belive in teaching them as young as possable

Well, without actually having to take her to court for bashing you to the children; I just suggest you let them know who you are and what you believe and let them know that judging people without fact or prof is no way to live and that along with people coming in all shapes and sizes they come with different beliefs and we love them for who they are no other reason. Remind them they have a choice no matter how young to love against all odds and differences. Also you can remind them you cannot go to hell if you do not believe in it and that their mother and you just believe different neither is PROVEN right or wrong 100%. Let me know if this helps.

So here is the issue.My ex wife is Lutheran and tells my kids that what i am doing is devil worship and when the kids are with me they see it is clearly not and more just a way of life and that ther mother has a hang up with semantics. so how do I stop the dis agreement with out the kids getting in the way
