Welcome to Florida Krystal and to Wicca.  As always with those new to Wicca, I will always send you to the local pagan bookstore, Cunningham, Starhawk, Penszack are all excellent authors to start with.  If you are looking to test the waters of group work, I would suggest an umbrella group to start with.  Those types of groups are accepting of all folks regardless of paths and experience.  They are a wonderful place to get your feet wet, particpate in ritual , and get a broad feel for the path.  I know there used to be a group in Daytona, however I have not heard about them in some years, so you may want to do a little digging over there.  You can check www.witchvox.com for listings of groups in the area.  In the Orlando area.  The Orlando Pagan Collective  www.wrcf.org  is a large umbrella, that offers sabbats, moon circles  to the pagan community.   There are also a couple of meetup groups that do the same, as well as offering classes and discussion groups.    I know we have a few members for our group from Daytona and the Space Coast area, so there is always the opportunity to meet others like you in our local groups.  I hope this little bit of information has given you a place to start.  Good Luck, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.  Love and Light ~ Nyt

Merry Meet, everyone!  So as you've probably noticed (if you live around Oviedo and Sanford) there aren't many metaphysical shops in our area.  I've been to Avalon in Orlando and went to Luna Sol Esoterica in Sanford.  Avalon I loved but it's too far away for me to go but once in a blue moon, and Luna Sol I didn't feel too good about because it felt like that Ann Moura was trying to read me without my permission which I was really not down with.  If there are any alternatives in the area I would love to know.
