    SIN JONES

Welp, I guess no on really gives a shit about bees, even though they aid in sustaining human life.  Sheesh people.

First time I've seen this , Sin...

I can't have an apiary where I live , as the neighbors

are too close , and they would kill the bees , or me...;)

However , I grow roses , and other flowers for them

      that they love...

During the summer , here in California , they come gather

the nectar from my garden , small though it is...

When I caretake a friends land , however...

His garden is huge , with blackberry bushes , as well...

I have to gather baskets of berries , and vegetables ,

and they are all around me...

And he has an apple orchard...

I talk to them , ask them how they are doing , wish

      their hive well...

Interesting post someone made , about "talking"

to the bees...I was not aware of that...

And , as I am running my dremel , carving antler ,

the frequency of sound and vibration , sometimes

attracts them...interesting to try to get a bee off

your dremel , gently , so you can work...

Yes , bees are extremely important...and in California ,

especially in Sonoma county , and surrounding areas ,

there has been a resurgence in apiaries...

Thanks for trying to bring awareness to the situation !

        Good news , Sin...

The city near where I live , as of last nite , became the first in California

to be declared an official bee habitat , and is seeking the funds to

        propagate hive colonies !

Hope that makes your day nicer to hear that !
