The astronomical/astrological date for a High Day would be defined as
when the Sun
reaches:
Summer Solstice: 0 deg Cancer
The dates for the Solstices and Equinoxes all fall on or about the
dates we usually
think of, 21-23 of the relevant month. The date for the Cross-Quarters, though,
usually fall about one week after the "usual" date, 7-10 of the relevant
month. For the astrologically-inclined: Solstices and Equinoxes are 0
deg of Cardinal
