I tried to do an internet search for polytheistic pagans in my area and one of the few links that came up brought me here.

Silly Thoughts

I'm just wondering why the wicked witches in fairytales use frosty powers. Winter has been getting the worst rap since forever and it frustrates me. I associate with Winter above any other season, ice and snow are my personal elements, but it's often stereotyped as a "villain power".

My personal view was that Summer was the worst season. Probably because since the day I was born I've had problems overheating. If the temperature is over seventy, it's too warm for me. I'm happy at a comfortable 5… Continue

I've Learned

I deleted the last blog post. My intention was to seek advice about my personal decisions. I opened up about my initial dislikes and misgivings and was verbally smacked for it. I truly don't like the idea of feminism, but I'm not at all surprised that the person causing my current feelings of negativity is some brusque male. Male practitioners tend to have a less than welcoming attitude towards the less experienced or unsure. At least, that's been the way I've experienced it for a long time.

Learning More Through Reading

I believe I have an open mind where it concerns Paganism. I'm not comfortable with Wicca, but I believe I can still learn from it. One of my favorite authors on the subject is Raymond Buckland; my wife owns the "big blue book", as I've heard some people call it. It's incredibly informative, but beyond that, I believe Buckland's opinions are worth the read. He explains numerous times that there is no right or wrong way to practice your spirituality. He explains that Wicca is a varied belief syste… Continue

Trying To Reach Up & Out

I find myself getting so easily depressed lately. Duo continues to try to remind me of how well our lives are going right now, despite certain setbacks, and that makes me happy for a short period of time, but...it never lasts too long.

I've been having terrible and strange dreams lately. I used to do dream interpretation, and had been pretty good with it, but doing it now makes me feel childish. I've tried looking to outside help for dealing with the dreams...oils, chants, even healing stones.… Continue

Looking For Guidance...again

I think we all need guidance every now and then. I just seem to be needing it a lot lately.

I wonder if there is a particular place I fit in. If there is a specific branch of Paganism I belong to. So far, I've yet to find anything and I think that's oddly disappointing. I guess I strive to find a group of people that are similar to me, that understand where I'm coming from and who it is I believe in. I guess I keep thinking someday I'll find a small group of people that follow the gods I follow… Continue

read your blog sorry you did not take comments , I conciter my self wiccan as they are orginized and most of the time our lives need this unless one likes running a muck which I don't the " rede " makes me stop and think to put on the breaks. I don't always follow it as I have to eat and even eating is the killing of vegitation. but I do understand magick is a two way street both the dark and the light work together in order to heal something must be destroyed this is magic but I always work for the good so perhaps in doing so Im harming something else but what ever it is I always push for the good in our world as darkness, evil are abound in the world lol. thanks for the post was good reading love and light MP

howdy

welcome to PaganSpace
i hope you find folks of like minds here and with many groups to help you grow in wisdom and knowladge here i think most folks here are friendly and helpfull i have found many friends here to share my path with and if you make one new friend i feel it was worth you being here:)
i have a group here that shares info on working with crystals if this is something you feel you would like to know more about check us out if not that is cool also my hope as you are a member here is to enjoy the site and grow. my group is ( CRYSTAL HEALING FAMILY )
I DO A THOUGHT OF THE WEEK AND WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THIS WEEKS WITH YA
THOUGHT OF THE WEEK 8-10-9
i belong to the Umpa Luompa religion i small religion to be sure were all about 4ft in hieght and our high priest is amost 5 ft the taller you are the closer you are to the gods they sey. in our religion it was said back befor chocolate was a fad that there would be a great puoring out of the coco beans upon our great and wounderful planet the time of the beans is a comen by the callenders of ancient umpa luompas set in the caverns of the forrest of choco there is mystical writeings on the wall made with chocolate ...unfortunatly soem of it was eaten away during the fammin of 12 something BC (BC=befor chocolate) what was left gave us enough clues to determane that everyone over 5 ft would be scurried away in a flood of chocolate near the dawning of the age of super luompa in real time about 2012
we all will be tranformed into our sacred beast the chocolate bunny wich everyone loves and adores

but befor this time of chaos there will be eating of carmel and marshmellow a time of great woes to those who dont see a dentist so it is writen so it may be according to the word of Garp.

HOWDY FOLKS THIS STORY IS KINDA SILLY BUT I WANT TO MAKE A POINT HERE AS A THOUGHT TO THINK ON
WE ALL BELIEVE IN SOMETHING AND SOME FOLKS MAY THINK WHAT WE CHOOSE TO BELIEV IS A WAIST OF TIME AND MEANINGLESS THEY MAY LOOK DOWN OF YOUR BELIEFS AS FOOLISHNESS
BUT IN TRUTHE WE ALL MUST CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES WHAT WE HOLD AS OUR BELIEF (BE TRUE TO THY SELF IN ALL THINGS SPECIALY WHEN IT COME TO YOUR FAITH) THEY MAY LAUGH OR POKE FUN AT YOU BUT IF YOU HOLD TRUE THEY MAY COME TO RESPECT YOUR VEIWS and YOU BY THAT ONE THING (BEING TRUE TO WHAT YOU BELIEVE)
