Also I would like to note coming from a Christian background, I may suggest reading the book The Druid Of Nazareth. There are often ads on here for it...
Book Overview:
This book blends Celtic Myth and practices with the words of Jesus, who is referred to in the book as Master Ishua, creating a new point of view for those around the world who honor his ethical teachings yet feel alienated from the Multi-Denominational Churches. It presents an alternative narrative to the early years of the life of Jesus that is just a probable as any other narrative thereby allowing his words to be understood in a Celtic context.
Here are the first couple paragraphs at the stry of the book:
[Author’s note: Is anything in this book real, correct, or true? What does it matter really? Yet what’s in this book is without question the peculiar shade of glasses through which I choose to view the reality that surrounds me. Ultimately, for better or for worse, we must all shoulder the burden of creating the reality we want to experience. It is the most amazing dichotomy to realize that no religion on this planet is correct and yet every religion on this planet is TRUE! Religion after all is the language of the Unknown, a human attempt to put words to that which is un-wordable, to describe the indescribable. A language used to convey deep emotion, visions and ecstasy. Viewed in this way perhaps we can accept all spiritual paths as true reflections upon “the beyond” regardless of inaccuracies. If there truly is a “Divine Force” and if this “Force” is everything we hope it is, omniscient, omnipotent and infinite, then its expression must be equally as infinite. We’re working on 8 billion people on this planet and if each and every one of us had a unique concept of the “Force” that would barely scratch the surface in understanding an infinite “Divine Force”! We are different from one another by design, we think, look, talk and act differently by design, why should our concepts of “Divinity” be an exception?]
