Wow. Did I tell everyone we're up to 5 cats? We are, we adopted a pair of sisters a couple of months ago. They are just about 10 months old now, Kiki and Kyoto. They were originally named Littles and Bella Luna. Good thing we renamed them, 'cause Littles is bigger than her sister. Oh dear. I realized in my previous post I talked alot about Alec and Betsy's cello playing and didn't say anything about Sooj! Well, she has an amazing voice, and is kind of the core of everything (even if they were calling the band Alec's band during the evening). But Sooj really does have such an unexpected, clean rich sound to her voice and the three of them together are unbelievable. And as I am listening to her right now, I can also say she does all sorts of styles you might not expect.…

My husband and I spent last weekend down in Pasco WA attending our first Radcon. Really good moderate sized SF and Fantasy convention. I found out about it sort of bass ackward: listening to various Pagan Podcosts, I was introduced to SJ Tucker and Tricky Pixie. So went on a web search, found websites for Sooj herself and for Tricky Pixie. All sorts of revelations ensued! Including that they would be performing at Radcon.
