Experimental Rune Set -- Egyptian !

Experimental Rune Set -- Egyptian !

While I do have a set of the usual kind of Futhark runes (plus the New Age blank one) on green stones, I have barely cracked any of the books I've picked up so far.

However, a couple of years back, I made up this set of files "runes01_24.bmp" and "runes25_48.bmp" and "egyptcloth.bmp" (actually I normally work mostly in .TIFF files, but seldom get to successfully exchange those with Windows users)

The first two files were set up to be cut out and past… Continue

Scottish Klingons yet . . .

This is a design I made up for some of New England's Sci-Fi performers who are fond of the Klingon characters who they portray.

As it is a common enough idea, if not carried out into actual art-forms very often, I release it (my version here) into the world under Creative Com… Continue

Impediments to Pagans Organizing

There are a number of things which can get in the way of trying to form any kind of Pagan or Neopagan organization, no matter whether physical, online, or combined. Some are more obvious than others, such as "Do we even have enough of us in the area to begin?" Some are not so obvious for those who haven't been down such paths before, such as "Umm, we're going to have to get an 'employer identification number' (EIN) from the IRS before we'll be able to open any bank accounts for our group's treas… Continue

Presidential Election Depression

Having watched the behavior of the Clintons and the Clinton Campaign for some while now, I can give the following bleak assessment of how I'm going to react this fall if the available choices to vote for are as follows:

John McCain
Bob Barr
Ralph Nader
Hillary Clinton

Should this be the assortment, I'm feeling right now that for all the good it will do our country I might as well cast a write-in ballot for Vladimir Putin.

As much as I don't want to try surviving through a "third term for Bush… Continue

hey wow thanks for the link to the Chapman book. My maternal grandfather is William Chapman. I have my family lineage through my maternal grandmother's family, but not my maternal grandfather, so this might be a connection; not sure. It's so tricky because there are SOOOO many Chapmans. But yes, Robert Chapman is my real name.
