I'm currently an animal ecology major at Iowa State University as well as a pre vet med student. I'm a member of the NWRA ( National Wildlife Rehabilitor Association), work with wildlife mainly birds of prey, hope to be apprenticing under a master falconer this fall and have a very strong connection with animals and nature.
I would have to say that I was a pagan all my life, before I really understood what that meant. I first saw the Goddess at the age of 7 along with my first spirit. I have been on the Goddess/Druidic path since 2000, I am a member of the Sisterhood of Avalon, currently a seminary student of the Sisterhood of Avalon, study all religions, have a deep connection to Native American culture and history which is to totally natural considering my is dad being Native American. I deeply connected to the Goddess Morrigan and have worked with her for 10 years. I'm drawn to the dark Goddesses, their animals and totem spirits but I also work with the Welsh Goddesses of Avalon. My journey has been interwoven with the Goddess, the Druid path and Native American beliefs and wisdom. I’m a Leo at heart but not a typical Leo. I was born the year of the rabbit/hare so I have the strength, courage, pride, will, passion and attitude of a Leo with the compassion, loyalty, luck, warmth, caution, stamina and intuition of the rabbit/hare. I’m more lunar like a hare than solar like a Leo but I think I balance out well. Often I come across as sweet, sincerely and compassionate but lie, betray, or harm me or someone I love and the Leo comes out. I’m a lover and a fighter, outspoken, driven, and loyal devoted, dependable, and empathic and often the one that people come to for help, guidance and healing.
I'm deeply connected to animals, have amazing animal totems and the sight. I have amazing dreams, can walk between worlds so to speak and can read people very very well. I have very strong intuition, can feel others deeply which at time is hard to control and I'm meant to be a healer. Animals have been my calling since I was very young. I can work with animals that others can't and they seem to communicate with me in ways that others often don't see. I have worked with eagles, hawks, vultures, pelicans, geese, swans, ducks, crows, rabbits, owls and kestrels. I have been handling birds of prey and wildlife for 4 years and have come to understand that my spirituality and my destine path to be a healer a interwoven and strongly connected. My patron Goddess is the Morrigan, she called out to me in 2001 and has been with me ever since. I'm a fighter, driven by my passion and will defend my friends and loved ones to the end. She helps me control my terrible temper, rage, helps me find my balance, connects me to the Goddess and warrioress that is within me and helps me heal from the past and old wounds. My animal totems are the hare, raven, crow vulture, falcon and wolf. The protectors of my home and scared space are dragons, vulture, raven and hares.
