- I am handfasted to my loving husband Vonn. We have been together since 2003. We are both Eclectic Pagans, both practicing for over 20 years. We are also both Universal Ministers, licensed in Ohio. We Co-Head a Pagan Monthly Social in our area. We are also in the process of getting things in order to be a ULC Pagan Church . We have 2 children and are expecting our 3rd the begining of April 2009!

From A Teacher To Their Student

Hear what I have to say, you who have asked me to be your teacher -- one who will help you learn the Old Ways.
I will tell you many things during the time we are together. None is more important for you to remember than this:
I am Human.
I have studied for a long time and I've learned a great deal. I will share as much of it with you as I can.
But I am Human.
I will always try to live up to the faith and trust you have in me.
But I am Human.
What does that mean? It means that I am not perfect. If I were, I wouldn't be here. None of us is perfect. I have faults and I am probably more aware of them than you are.
It means that I don't know, or claim to know, everything. I know a great deal about certain subjects but I am not omniscient. It is entirely possible, indeed, probable, that there are areas where you know much more than I. I'm always learning, but so should you be. I hope to continue learning through this life and others.
It means I can't do everything, physically or psychically. I have only so much time, only so much energy, physically and psychically. It means I need your help and encouragement as much, if not more, than you need mine. It means I can, and probably will be, unreasonable, irritable and short tempered at times. I'll try not to be, but you might see me that way.
It means I can succumb to any of various temptations. I can lose my perspective, I can be jealous, selfish and materialistic. I hope I won't be, but these are all things "flesh is heir to," human traits.
And I am Human.
Don't expect me to be anything else. Don't worship me or look at me in awe. You'll only be disappointed and I have seen that disappointment cause someone to leave their rightful path. Work with me, share with me, help me, and in return you can expect all the love and understanding I have.
I am Human.
Whatever you do, don't forget that.
And in the name of all we both hold sacred, DON'T LET ME!

UPDATE ON US
Everyone here is doing fine...the older 2 girls are wonderful big sisters and big helpers with their lil sister...can't believe the baby is 5 months old already! I was reading our prior blogs and everyone's comments/well wishes and it feels like it was just the other day ...LOL!
Hubby is busy at work..a few of his company's competitors went out of business so they are getting new accounts...which means regular mandator… Continue

While Mother Nature changes clothes to tint our summer scene.
The gauzy purple twilight envelops every night
While streaks of peach and flaming orange hide sunset from our sight.
Wildflowers on the forest edge sway in gentle breeze
Soon they'll shed their blossoms too, as summer takes her leave.
Next phase is Autumn's sleight-of-hand with colors bright and true
'Til Mother Nature's restless hand wipes them all from view.
Savor these sweet tranquil days they're certain not to last
We'll wish we had them back again when feeling Winters blast.
