Dance of Shiva. A picture I took at the nightclub TAO in the Venetian Hotel where my husband, Danny Roberts was showing his art.~*~ In search of a medium, I have been a singer, musician, dancer, actor and an artist...then I found words. Poetry, short stories, essays, novels, rants or editorials, dark fiction or philosophy - I'm not quite sane unless I'm writing. (As a reporter/producer in broadcast news I loved video editing. I still express my love of imagery and painting through photography and Photoshop. I'm a native Las Vegan and the number one fan of my husband, Las Vegas artist, Danny Roberts. We have a gallery for which I am the business side to his artistic side. I'm produce all of his prints, shooting, editing and production. I also maintain all the websites. Links to him are below...) My last journalistic stint was the Art Beat feature writer on for Stok'd magazine.

First last and always, I'm a story teller.

MY INHERITANCE is witchcraft. For the past three years I've been writing under my craft name: Ardriana Cahill. I'm editing my book (working title) *Legacy - One Hundred Years of Wisdom from a Hereditary Witch,* shopping for a proofreader, editor, agent and/or publisher and working hard to live up to my sub-title. MY PASSION is for the amazingly talented Danny Roberts who's been showing for the past three years in Vegas at The Art's Factory. MY ADDICTION is dark fiction, with a novel completed, another started and plans to submit my short stories. Evidence of my darker side can be found in angry prose, dark fiction and scathing editorials by hitting the banner below.

On Knowledge versus Wisdom

Karen Follett offers a spell to open oneself to wisdom in Llewellyn's 2004 Witches' Spell-a-Day Almanac. She says…“you can read to gain knowledge, but you have to seek to gain wisdom.”

I’m not sure what that meant so I tried to explain it to myself and this is what came out.
