I am a solo practitioner raised in an Italian family and often heard of ancestors "streghe" as poppi called them. My path has been a mixture of ancient egyptian, celt, with shamanic and alchemic tendancies. It feels time for me to return to the other ancestral path (that of the streghe) and begin my work.
anything relating to ancient egypt, the rubiyat of omar khayyam, gosh i have so many on so many topics that it would take too long to list my favorites.
Beliefs / Practices
Witch, Shaman, Other Spirituality
i have become very comfortable with a mixture of ancient egyptian, ancient celtic and druidic tradition along with witchcraft and the spiritual belief system i was raised within - roman catholic, as it applies to the holy mother and the saints. i am a kind but firm spirit keeper and have both bound and unbound spirits around the house at all times.
crafting recharging bags, custom rosaries (all kinds), tarot deck bags and simply honing the knowledge which i was given by 30 years under a master mage (magick and conjuration).
first and foremost the brave nyfd firefighters who lost their lives in the 9/11 disaster at the wtc. second would be the police officers who lost their lives that day.
my dearly departed mentor would never wish to be called a hero (simply one who has perfected the craft and passed it successfully on to a handful of students) but in my eyes he pulled me from the darkness of unknown ancestry (mom passed away while i was a child of 9 and i really didn't know her family - never knew father or his at all) and offered me the light of magick at age 19 when we met in center city philly. he said he was drawn by my light.
How did you find PaganSpace?
i was searching for "streghe" and came across a comment which led me here. the group just seems like a balanced and knowledged group of individuals working in the craft.
