I just completed my 3rd degree initiation and am now a High Priestess and member of Coven of the Southfire Dragon. I am currently wanting to meet and network with pagans in the Concord North Carolina Area.
I have also started a pagan parent group on yahoo groups and would love for any parents who would like to have a support system, get information on raising kids pagan, and have play dates for kids to meet other kids with similar beliefs, to join up!! Please see below for the link!

- Favorite Books
- Just about anything by Christopher Penczak, The Temple Series, Spirit Allies, Instant Magick, etc... Maiden, Mother, and Crone by D.J. Conway. I love Deborah Lipp's The Study of Witchcraft: A Guideboook to Advanced Wicca - it is such a concise book that has tons of resources and reading material in it that covers alot of the History of Witchcraft and Wicca. I bought a great many of books that were in her 'recommended reading' sections of the book...highly recommended!
As for mindless escapism, or fiction reading.. I liked "The Host' by Stephenie Meyer, Nora Roberts books that have metaphysical/mythical story lines, and some of Paula Coehlo books that have a very spiritual insight to them.

- Making and meeting new friends who share the same beliefs as I do or don't and learn new things from them, studying and researching all kinds of things...kind hearted people with warm spirits and great energy. Openmindedness...

- Ignorance, people who will believe what anyone tells them instead of doing the leg work to find out if something is true or not. I dont dislike the person, just the ignorance...
