"The idea of lighting one candle is beautiful to celebrate
the return of light , after the winter equinox...
However , when one lives in a different climate and a
different eco - system ( Northern California ) , the wheel
does not always fit...
"I did in fact watch the whole inauguration...I don't even know why. Perhaps I was just hoping something would happen to stop the process. Trump's speach was atleast more soherant than his speaches when he was running.
I bet within two…"
I am a long time pagan, a druid to be exact. I love all of creation, but frankly people baffle me. I love spending time with my dog out in the forest, and going camping.
I became pagan back in the 70's, long before the modern explosion of Pagan authors and groups. There was little information available, so I had to become a student of ancient history, archeology, and anthropology. I gleamed what I could from reports on archeological digs, and anthropology digests. Then through quiet prayer and meditation I began to learn so much more.
Anything by John Muir, Aldo Leopold, and I read a lot of "field guides."
Beliefs / Practices
Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan, Shaman, Druid
I consider myself a druid, but I've studied many different paths, and I've borrowed from many philosophies. I don't have a clue where the path leads, I only know that I am on the right path for me.
Woodworking, carving, my dog, camping, gardening, & just spending time in nature.
