I've been a Wiccan priestess for about 11 years, both solitary and in groups. I'm currently working solo, but also sometimes with an open circle group to celebrate the Sabbats. I'm a mother of two beautiful children who amaze me every day, and wife to a wonderful husband.
I've been doing good, thank you. I work construction/carpentry so it is a mad dash to finish every project while the weather allows. Not much time for fun stuff, but trying to squeeze it in. I'm sure you understand, dealing with kids and school ;)
So, remember you referred me to Vision Quest? Well I've been there multiple times and gotten many goodies. I'm going to Pomegranate Grove's Samhain circle in Everett too! Exciting! It will be my first "official" pagan gathering.
Thank you! Reading through their page--wow, it is exactly the kind of shop I was looking for. Have you ever attended the open circles mentioned on their site? I would love to attend one, meet like-minded people, but I'm a bit scared off by how new I feel in this craft. I was just wondering what kind of experiences you have had, or heard of from other people, attending their classes/open circles?
Vision Quest books? That sounds very interesting! And worth a visit...I googled the name Vision Quest books with Everett, WA and couldn't find an address. Do you happen to know their address? Sorry to trouble you, if you don't know offhand I'm sure I can ask around. Thanks for all your advice, you have been most helpful!
I've looked into the groups a bit closer to my area--one is inactive and another is way too structured for my tastes. I think I'm going to concentrate on being a solitary and maybe I will happen upon some like-minded people in the future...the future is full of opportunities after all ;) I was wondering though if you might have some suggestions of some quality "new age" stores or "pagan shops" in western WA area that you've been to...I'm willing to drive anywhere if the shop is right. Online searches have brought up a few, but the descriptions of the inventory and the shops themselves are very vague. Thanks again for your advice! Blessed Be.
