- I am Amanda, also known as Mandie. I am 22 years old. I grew up in Bethel/Danbury, Connecticut, but I am currently living in Jacksonville, FL. I am in the Navy and am stationed here with the squadron, VS-31. In just a few short months, I'll be taking off for Sigonella, Sicily for 3 years! In the Navy, I work as an Aviation Electrician's Mate.
I am an eclectic Wiccan and have been since my freshman year of high school. I was the Pagan/Wiccan Study Group Lay Leader on board the USS John C. Stennis from June 2007 to August 2007. I am also a registered Lay Leader through Circle Sanctuary of Wisconsin.
I like to do a lot of things. I love to write poetry, which you can find here: Amanda's Poetry. I've been writing since we did a poetry section in English in 8th grade and haven't stopped since. I love animals. I grew up with so many cats and a few dogs in the house. I currently have 2 adorable 6-month old kittens; a tortoiseshell female named Sabre and an orange tabby named Zephyr. I also have a yellow lab/chow mix dog named Harley. I am a gamer chick. I am a huge fan of World of Warcraft. I have a 70 Protection Spec Warrior, a 70 Holy Priest, a 70 Affliction Warlock and a 60 Holy Paladin, I have my Xbox 360, I've been playing tons of Guitar Hero 2 and 3, Halo 3, Battlefield 2, and a few others. My gamertag is : Mystickah .
Music has always been a big part of my life. I love going to concerts, and experiencing my favorite artists in their element. Some of my favorites include: The Beatles, John Lennon, Santana, Aerosmith, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, Breaking Benjamin, Bush, Coldplay, Crossfade, Linkin Park, Incubus, Mindless Self Indulgence, Deftones, 3 doors down, Nickelback, Story of the Year, Loreena McKennitt, Sarah McLachlan, Enya, Natalie Imbruglia, H.I.M., Sarah Brightman, ATB, DJ Encore, and many more.

Warm greetings and I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do. I really appreciate all the nice messages and pics. I'm not very good at writing back, but everyone is still helpfull and kind. Besides being new at this, I don't know a lot and this site is great. You can learn dirrectly by just reading what is posted here, or it is also a great resorce for buying books and materials for the craft. The help in choosing a book is great too. If you are not new like me, you may get satisfaction from helping those of us who are new to our paths. Anyway, I am looking forward to chatting and maybe meeting you inthe future.
