- About Me:
- I am a widowed, differently-abled, semi-retired, photographer and graphic artist. In my previous life (before Charcot-Marie-Tooth Syndrome), I was a personal trainer, fitness specialist, strength coach, and athletic trainer (I still have the T-shirts to prove it). Vocational rehabilitation re-introduced me to photography and other artistic pursuits. I lost my mate of 13 odd years (some more odd than others) a few years ago. I like to think of myself of Celtic origin since I have mostly an Irish and Welsh background.
I am a tall (6'4", 6"5" with the hardware on and a lot shorter when I use the wheels), hairy bear with long dark brown hair, a salt'n'pepper beard (variable - it seems to change on its own), hazel eyes (which also seem to change on their own), some ink (two dragon tattoos, so far), and some metal (pierced ears and nipples, among other things).

- Favorite Books
- I do not know if I have a favorite. I have read every text book I have ever had from cover to cover. However, I do not claim to remember or even understand everything they contained. I have enjoyed almost every book on photography I have read. I also like the Harry Potter series and the Vampire Chronicle (old and new); I am sorry if that disappoints some people. I like other vampire, werewolf, witch, "mythology", and occult books, too. I like science fiction and fact. Lately, I have been reading a lot about Pagan, Celtic, and Irish history, culture, and ancestory. I participated in the National Geographic Genographic Project and, like everyone else, could be descended from Irish Kings.

- The First Religion: The Hunt God (Father, Hunter, Warrior) and the Earth Mother (Mother, Gatherer, Healer). In the Pan-Celtic Pantheon, I identify most with Cernunnos (God of the Underworld, the Green Man and the Hunter, and the Provider of Prosperity and Health) and Brigid (Goddess of the Forge and Mother of All Technology, and Healer).
Generally, I like movies and shows along the same lines as my Books, most music as long as they do not monger hate or fear, like rap and reggae. You can chant without trying to get someone killed.
- Dislikes
- I dislike fear and hate mongers. I dislike spin doctors - if they were to look the truth in the eye, then they would turn to stone. I dislike those who deny the Fairness Doctrine. I dislike those who refuse to see that they suffer from Stockholm syndrome even after it has been proven to them that they are victims. I dislike people who give up the right and the means to defend themselves, their loved ones, and their property in exchange for the merest hope that their government will even bother to consider to ever protect them.

Pygar is Dead
John Phillip Law, a tall, blond actor who cut a striking figure as the blind angel opposite Jane Fonda in 1968's "Barbarella" and in other film roles, has died. He was 70.
Law died Tuesday at his Los Angeles home, his former wife, Shawn Ryan, said. The cause of death was not announced.
