I'm an avid camper and have been toying with the idea of hosting an annual two week paddle down the Wisconsin River to the Mississippi. Two summers ago, my son and I went from above Wisconsin Dells, all the way to Wyalusing State Park at the confluence of these two great rivers.
Aside from that, there are many wonderful adventures you could take in Northern WI as well. I may not always be available to go off to the woods, but I would love to plan a midwestern retreat for pagan souls. I am also available for consultation about what to see and where to go if you would like to just get away.
My wife and I started a not-for-profit organization about four years ago that specializes in ecotours. We have planted over fifteen thousand trees so far, and taken hundreds of people on trips across Northeast Wisconsin. We are currently working to secure a large parcel, 55 acres for use as a retreat center, teaching facility, model reforestation project, and CSA (community supported agriculture) garden. The land is twenty mils North of Green Bay, WI. We are seeking donations to secure the land by spring planting, on or about April first!
