Paganising the Children: Finding Fairies

I try to keep my kids active, and I am teaching them paganism at the same time. This seemed like a great time to go looking for fairies!
We bought some cheap cardboard masks from the arts and crafts shop, and gave the kids markers to colour them. These are their special fairy sight masks. …
Herb of The Day: Lemon Balm

This is my favourite herb to use for the children. Its perfect to use for babies and up (babies get a much weaker infusion than older children).
Medicinally: upset stomachs, all childhood ailments, nausea, morning sickness, calming
Magickally: love, success, healing

This has got to be one of my favourites, which is why I'll start with it.
Magickally: protection, mental powers, fidelity, youth, healing
Medicinally: anti-oxidant, digestion, circulatory, antiseptic, mouth wash, respiratory, congestion
I love plants that do double duty! Mixed with thyme and echinacea, and you have a remedy for chest colds. Mix it with sage to aid digestion.… Continue
