Now on with the show.

I am a Veteran soldier, a 1st degree Gardnerian, Bisexual and married to my soulmate.

I have a Pagan daughter (her mom raised her solitary Pagan) who has 3 sons and a daughter (2 of the boys are twins) and I have a son who wants to be a mechanic and build race cars. While my son has not chosen a path, he has been encouraged by me to find the path that he is comfortable with, no matter where it leads him.

I am a chainmailler (jewlery, accessories, art, ritual and other headpieces)
I enjoy Renaissance faires, Riding motorcycles, playing MMORPG's, Disney pin trading, Aviation, Fantasy/Sci-fi books and movies, History and historical films and historical fiction.

But I am far more than the sum of this short description. My views of life sometimes seem to be inconsistent with my life experiences, but that is only a superficial view of who and what I am.

I am Scottish descended on 3 family lines (MacMartins of Clan Cameron, Barnetts of Clan Gunn and Clan Sutherland), Irish on at least one family line (Carley), German on one family line (Barger) and English on a few family lines.
I am ravenous when it comes to anything to do with history. When I was stationed in the UK, I mostly went to places that had interesting histories to them and spent almost no time on base.

Almost half a century today

Well, it's Father's day and my birthday. A double whammy.

My son will probably not even call to say hello. (I will have to "thank" his mother for that some time)

But all is still good. My daughter, who lives on the other side of the country, will call or chat online with me at some point today or will call me tomorrow.

If she can, she will get the grand kids on to say Hi as well.

The dog has been better than normal today, too. Almost like she knows that this is a special day in our household… Continue

CAMELOT DAYS MEDIEVAL FAIRE!!!!!! Last day before the faire.

Well, everyone, Camelot days ( http://www.camelotdays.com/ ) is tomorrow and Sunday (Nov 15-16) and we just got home from setting up our display settings and booth. Product goes in in the morning before faire opens.

It has been a really bad few tears for us vendors because of the economy, but I would like to invite every member of the site, in South Florida, to come to this faire.

Coming next weekend: CAMELOT DAYS MEDIEVAL FAIRE!!!!!!

Well, it's time again for the Camelot Days Medieval Faire at T-Y park in Hollywood (Florida). It is one weekend on the 15th - 16th of November, 2008. Next weekend and I will be vending at the Mystic Mythrill Chainmaille booth.

Been trying to get my product up and have been trying to work diligently on a few projects at once, but it has slowed things down for me.
