I must remember that with the calling of Dionysos comes a loss of control. Theatre is a strange amorphous thing and directing it seems like trying to sculpt the seas. It is an unusually bright and sunny day, for Humboldt County. Anyone who tells you that California is all 70 degrees and sunshine has never left L.A. for the incessant rain of the north coast. On November 4, 2008 52% of Californian voters chose to define marriage as between one man and one woman. The ballot meause will ammend the California Consitiution to effectively stop Gay marriages and to defened traditional marriage. But is one man one woman traditional enough.
