Join us on a meandering journey through the Dark Age and Medieval Britain as we explore the myths and legends of King Arthur and his knights (not forgetting the ladies, of course). What would Camelot and Avalon be without the ladies? :)
For all the Virgo's here on Pagan Space. It would be great to see how many of us are here. Virgo's often get an unfair press. We sometimes have a reputation of being rigid, cold, critical etc, etc. Share your stories and experiences.

So, you want to know more about me do you? Well, I'll tell you right now that even at the age of 35, I am still constantly changing. Maybe it's because I was one of those people that had to spend my childhood and teen years acting like an adult instead of figuring out who I was. So, now that my kids are getting older and more self-sufficient, I'm able to actually spend some time trying to figure out who I am. And since some of the variables change from day to day, I'll give you the details about myself that never seem to waiver.
I love with all my heart. I am very giving...to a fault at times. I often find it hard to tell people "no" when they want my help, but I'm learning. I love to learn about new things, but I'm not an overly intellectual person. I'm very emotional and deep about things. My husband tells me I "think too much." I want the best for everyone in any given situation, so I tend to be a moderator. I'm diplomatic about things. My husband says I have a way with words. Someties that's good, and sometimes I use it to my advantage. I tend to know how to word things in a way that persuades people in my favor. In spite of the fact that I love to learn and am well-spoken and intelligent, I consider myself to be quite flakey. I tend to change my mind about things at the drop of a hat. But I think that comes from the whole over thinking thing...I tend to think about things from all sides and angles and often times more than one side or angle seems right to me...so I go back and forth and change my mind...a lot.
I love the creature comforts of home...a comfy couch, a warm blanket, some cozy jammies, something good on TV or a good movie to watch. I love to cook, but am more of a home-style, comfort food kind of cook than a gourmet. I LOVE mashed potatoes and gravy...they are my all time favorite comfort food. I like sweet iced tea or a cold diet Dr. Pepper when I'm thirsty or a hot cup of herbal tea when I need to relax. My favorite place in the world to be is in my husband's arms. My children are my pride and joy.
I am a horrible speller, but I love to write. I can be very creative, and am at my peak later at night...usually past midnight. I am a dog person, not a cat person....most likely because I am severly allergic to cats and prefer not to have my eyes swell shut. I'm more of a book geek than an athlete or outdoorsy kind of person. But I do enjoy camping, and would like to take up hiking. I love plants and flowers, wish I had them all over my yard and home...but I tend to have a black thumb...I once killed a rubber tree...I was told it was impossible to do.
I'm sure I could go on and on about myself, but then what reason would you have to get to know me better? Right?
If you want to know more...you are gonna have to ask. :)
My husband ~ because he has always believed in me, stood by me, supported me, protected me, and loved me...no matter how crazy I've made his life.

People I can have an intelligent conversation with, a good book, rainy days, time with family, cherry vanilla diet dr. pepper, a hot cup of camomile tea, sitting on the swing with hubby looking at the moon and talking after a long day, mashed potatoes and gravy, traveling, sleeping in late and snuggling with my husband on a Sunday morning.
Dislikes
Shallow, ignorant people who think they know everything about everything, people who harm those weaker than they are, seeing that someone needs help and not being able to help them.

Greetings!!!!Summer Sun
Great is the sun, and wide he goes
Through empty heaven with repose;
And in the blue and glowing days
More thick than rain he showers his rays.
Though closer still the blinds we pull
To keep the shady parlour cool,
Yet he will find a chink or two
To slip his golden fingers through.
The dusty attic spider-clad
He, through the keyhole, maketh glad;
And through the broken edge of tiles
Into the laddered hay-loft smiles.
Meantime his golden face around
He bares to all the garden ground,
And sheds a warm and glittering look
Among the ivy's inmost nook.
Above the hills, along the blue,
Round the bright air with footing true,
To please the child, to paint the rose,
The gardener of the World, he goes.
by Robert Louis Stevenson
May the warmth of his golden rays
Spread magic brightly through your days.
In Honour of Alban Hefin (the Summer Solstice/Litha)
Love and Hugs, Gwen
For those of you who are mothers, or will be one someday, may the Gods touch your day with peace and love. Willow
