Brown Cow Meets Flat Rock
Wow, is it ever raining here today! The expression when I was growing up in Texas was "like a brown cow p***ing on a flat rock." And not a breath of wind stirring. Very odd for Seattle. Usually just drizzles for 6 months, with intermittent typhoons.
Thankfully, it's my day off; wouldn't want to be driving my bus in this flood.

Healthcare Town Hall
Just got back from the big local Healthcare Town Hall meeting hosted by my Congressman, Jay Inslee (D, WA-1). It went far better than I was afraid it would. Maybe the Tea-Bagger/Death-Panel/Flat-Earth insanity has crested. One can hope.
