For all the Virgo's here on Pagan Space. It would be great to see how many of us are here. Virgo's often get an unfair press. We sometimes have a reputation of being rigid, cold, critical etc, etc. Share your stories and experiences.
Greetings my friends! Fit as a Witch was started by me some time ago with notion of having a place to gather for information sharing about health, weight loss and support for such. We also include fitness for the mind, heart and wallet too. Blessings
Has anyone read any of Prof. James A. Duke's books on Herbs or wild plants and flowers. He's amazing, and so down to earth. Enjoy, if you get the chance.
When I was little, the girls had to soak in buttermilk to keep their skin from freakling, I NEVER DID. Now women use it in facials, cooking, I even have a recipe for buttermilk puddin'. What's your fav buttermilk use?

I am also in Hudson. I am always looking for Pagan events and such to go to around here which seem few and far between. I will be moving to Maine next year however. Just wanted to say hello to a fellow Hudsonite!
On Hallowmas Eve, ere ye boune to rest,
Ever beware that your couch be blest;
Sign it with cross and sain it with bread,
Sing the Ave and the Creed.
For on Hallowmas Eve, the Night Hag shall ride
And all her nine-fold sweeping on by Her side,
Whether the wind sing lowly or loud,
Stealing through moonshine or swathed in cloud.
He that dare sit in St. Swithin's Chair,
When the Night Hag wings the troubled air,
Questions three, when he speaks the spell,
He must ask and She must tell.
I give great thanks this season of the Thinning of the Veils, for yer friendship, love and yer mere existence. Have a Wonderful and Soulfully Magic Samhain
~love and hugs Gwen~
Thank you for the welcome. I think the people who built the house put the St. John's Wort in as a ground cover. It is used a lot up here to protect against soil erosion. It's all along the highway that runs through town. Once you put it in, it grows like a weed. It takes very little care and blooms all spring and, with regular watering, most of the summer. We made garland out of it on Litha and strung it over the doors to the house. I like having it around.
