- Well-met everybody and anybody!
I have joined in the hope of meeting some new and interesting people (which this place appears to be crammed full of)!
I'm an agnostic stoner from the South-West of England, who loves his fantasy, mythology and history, and enjoys writing (and listening to) music. In my spare time; I paint, sketch, play, listen, write, read, watch and learn. I'm very keen to learn anything esoteric, spiritual and paranormal. I come from a complicated but loving family, half of which have Celtic origins, and the other I believe have Norse origins (but I only know that by my mother's maiden-name, and know nothing about its history). This, I think, leaves in me an interest in Celtic mythology, and ancient history (amongst many other interests including Norse/Viking, Ancient Greek, Roman, African, Egyptian, Native American, Aboriginal, Oriental, etc.). I come from a family of mostly atheists, but went to a Christian primary school, which kinda left me with an open-mind for spirituality but a well-needed scepticism ("My mind ain't so open, that anything can crawl right in." lyrics by Magazine). My girlfriend practises Witchcraft in her spare time, and is learning different Divination methods (which I find enthralling); my sister used to collect books on Witchcraft and other various esoterica, and has dabbled in a bit; my brother took a brief but passionate interest in both Buddhism and Taosim, and practiced Tai Chi, Wing Chun and Tae Kwon Do; my mother's best friend is a Hari Krishna; I did a research project in school on LaVeyan Satanism (and I listen to enough black metal). I suppose I'm like a religious elastic-band ball, made up of strands of religious ideas and philosophies from all the people I know and respect.... and I bounce! Listening to so much reggae/dub music too, I guess soaked up some Rastafarian in me as well...... hehehe!
I also have a passion for blades, ancient arms and armour, collecting swords, daggers, knives, axes, maces, etc. but I absolutely loath modern weaponary and warfare (and anything else that causes unnecessary pain and suffering).
I've rambled enough now, but I will look forward to talking to anyone here! Thanks!

- Inequality, lack of respect, unecessary negative action (ie, racism, sexism, fascism, ageism, anti-semitism, disablism, Nazism, capitalism, evangelism, patriotism, nationalism, hooliganism, homophobia, islamophobia, xenophobia, francophobia, media-enforced ignorance\ panic, war, automatic weapons, bombs, nuclear weapons, propaganda, bad governments\ monarchy, hypocrisy, complacency, authority, perversity, aristocracy, cruelty, dishonesty, self-pity, bigotry, bigomy, greed, power, ignorance, pollution, farming, hunting for profit, bloodsport, rip-offs, piss-takers, bullies, cultural-takeovers, over-population, deforestation, commercialisation, etc.) I may seem to hate a lot, according to this list, but they're only the things that get in the way of my greater love for life and living things.
